JUST COMPLETED & READY TO GO! As you can see from the pics we have just finished this project, a real labour of love. And has our girl been loved a lot for a long time. One owner since new, who lovingly stored her under cover when not in use and kept her in immaculate condition before selling her to us. With a young family there was just a little too much wood paneling and brown paint for our taste. We sanded her back inside and out before coats of paint, a checker plate stone guard, hand made timber table and benchtop, premium soft furnishings and the most outrageous exterior decor by one of Melbourne's top street artists and all this for one reason... so we can relax and enjoy our home away from home whenever we get the opportunity. As we can't get away all the time you get to enjoy her for a great value get away. A little more about Gypsy Anne..... *We sleep 4, 2 in the pillow top double bed and one each on the front bench / bed (he is 6ft!) and the drop down table. We supply bedding for everyone. If you need we can even add 2 swags that can go inside the optional full annex. *For cooking we have an air fryer / multi oven, a microwave, utensils, cutlery and crockery and an optional bbq. *There are some camp chairs, board games and a couple of books. *The best kept secret about old vans is the are just so easy to tow. They are light and can be towed by the average sized family vehicle (we use a Nissan Qashqui). It is fitted with electric brakes so it is safer to use a brake controller. *We have our own 'fur babies' (a pair of amazing pugs) so appreciate how important yours are. We also know that some people make more mess and cause more damage than pets so we just include our expectations of pets the same as all other guests in that the primary renter is responsible to clean up after them or cover damages caused. Our girl is definitely the glamourous type so she isn't for off road, off grid travelling. She is fitted out for sticking to the black stuff, picking a powered site at a caravan park and plugging her in. Our goal for you hire is that you only need to think about your clothes, toiletries and food. We just hope that we have have thought of everything for you to have a great getaway, be it romantic, with family, pets or with friends.

Hiring rules

  • Gypsy Anne is strictly a NonSmoking van
  • No festivals
  • No cutting on bench top without chopping board
  • Heater must not be plugged in unless you are in the van and awake
  • Please remove all rubbish and empty fridge upon return
  • Please lock Gypsy Anne when you are not in the caravan
  • Missing board games will be charged at replacement cost
  • Loss of keys will be charged an extra fee
  • Please return Gypsy Anne how you picked her up otherwise a cleaning fee of $100.00 will apply
  • CARAVAN TOWING RULES
  • Gypsy Anne has a maximum 10 hour towing distance from Pakenham, Victoria
  • Towing Experience Required
  • Minimum towvehicle requirement is 1400kg.
  • Brake controller requirements (BYO)
  • Collection/Pick up time: Delivery and Pickup times are flexible

. Weekdays and weekends differ so please just contact us.
  • Drop off time: Gypsy Anne must be returned by 2pm on the last day of hire as we have to clean in between bookings. Late drop off will incur a fee of $100.00
  • EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they will advise the Hirer how to contact NRMA.
  • DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Hi Stephen thank you for the use of your van. It was so easy to walk in walk out and be where I wanted to be. The van is so well set up and was easy to settle in. The fact that I could have my little dog with me was the winner also the fact that everything was there to use for me it was 5 out of 5 well done and thanks again

    We had a great time and Stephen and his family were wonderful to us. The only issue we had was the fridge that was not working particularly well.

Hi we're Steve & Jill. We have a young family that keeps us very busy. We bought Gypsy Anne to force us to take some time out, both with and without the kids and fur babies, and so far it has been great. We have set her up so you can pack a bag of clothes, some toiletries and a bit of food and head off on an easy getaway, wherever the wind takes you.
