After taking me 13000kms around Australia over 6 months, the beloved Clam Bus is ready to take you on an unforgettable adventure. It is has everything you need for wherever you want to go. - Twin couches that turn into two single or a double (or even triple?) bed. Approx 1.8*1.8m - Table with two chairs - Large 12v fridge - Sink and 2 burner gas stove - Cassette Toilet & Cold Shower - Solid electrical system with 135 Ah lithium battery, 400W of solar power and DCDC alternator car charger, 3000W inverter to power your 240V appliances. - Portable evaporative cooler - Comes with fully equipped kitchen - Plenty of storage space, including wardrobe and space under the beds All within a spacious interior Classic Toyota engine, basic and a bit undersized so you'll have to slow down to the Clam's pace (especially for any hills!) Goes at around 16 L/100km. Engine recently had the top end overhauled with new head, timing chain, & water pump and has been regularly serviced while I've had it.

Hi! I'm Declan. I'm from the Adelaide Hills. After working for ~5 years as a water engineer I set off on my adventure around Australia in my beloved Clam Bus. It took me up through the middle, across and up to Cairns, down the coast to Sydney then back across home. After that I spent a year in Japan volunteering at development NGO living with people from every continent and working in the organic farm! Now I'm back doing some further study and hiring out my Toyota Coaster.
