"Thandi" is our 2019 19ft6" Lotus Offgrid with queen size bed and 2 x 6ft bunk beds. This is off grid quality and luxury at its finest. You will feel like you're away in a 5 star retreat. This caravan is fully equipped to camp in those slightly off the beaten track spots with 2 x 100amp AGM batteries, 2 x 170w Solar panels, 2 x 90ltr water tanks and a 60ltr grey water tank. The Queen sized bed is extra long and comes with additional pillow topper, while the double bunkbeds are 6ft long and rated to 100kgs. The bathroom has a large shower and separate cassette toilet. The kitchen is very well stocked with crockery / cutlery, etc to cater for you plus some guests, too and coffee lovers wont be disappointed. It is also equipped with a microwave, 182ltr 3way fridge and an oven / grill / 4 plate gas hob. Also included is a 3.5kg washing machine, reverse cycle air conditioning, tv (inside and out), radio (inside and out), fan and ample storage. For outside cooking there is a Weber Baby Q BBQ. There is also a 3 bicycle bike rack and wood and dual jerry can rack. In addition to the awning there are two privacy screens that can be attached to the awning (1 x front and 1 x side panel) if requested.

Special towing information

- Towing mirrors must be used (can be supplied). - Anderson plug and 12 pin flat plug preferred but not essential. (12 pin plug wired in accordance with the diagram included in the photo's to allow charging of fridge whilst travelling - especially for longer trips; Anderson plug for charging of batteries whilst driving although during daylight this is also done via the roof mounted solar panels) - Rear suspension airbags / self levelling suspension recommended in tow vehicle. - No unsealed roads.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Chris was great to rent from. He did a walk thru of the van the weekend prior, including checking electrical for towing, to ensure a smooth pickup. The van was clean and in perfect working condition. Communication was easy and Chris was always very responsive.
