Additional information
Most wheelchair cars cannot tow a van and that is the case for our family. We typically take our VW Maxi cab as well as our Ford Ranger to tow the Pumpkin so a bit of a convoy. If your wheelie bound person can sit in a normal car seat than there is plenty of room for the wheelchair in the Pumpkin to tie down the chair. The Ford Ranger is also available for rental should you not have a suitable vehicle for towing.
Hiring rules
- 1. Only agreed drivers are to tow
- 2. No smoking inside
- 3. No pets
- 4. Hirer age restrictions 25 or older
- 5. Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises
- 6. "The Pumpkin" must be returned cleaned or risk a fee
- 7. Toilet must be emptied before return
- 8. Grey Water tank must be emptied before return
- EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133. Then call me!
- DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
- NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads
- UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
- LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to take the van up to 500 km's a day. If you need to do more please let us know so we can discuss.
- CLEANING Clean the equipment and Van. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
- COOKING GAS Return FULL refilled from petrol stations with Elgas
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
