My luxury 2018 van is set up for short or long term Off Grid glamping with an advanced solar system installed. Its easy to tow and you don't need towing mirrors. Features include: 300lts of water, and 12 volt lights/fans and washing machine. Crusiemaster automatic compressor - making leveling the van a breeze. Fully appointed kitchen with oven, filtered drinking water, and large fridge/freezer. Full size shower w/separate flushing toilet. Gas heater and Air con (which needs a generator or electricity), Awning and outdoor table. Comes loaded with all the basics, including: plates, cutlery, pans, kitchen gear, a toaster, and cleaning equipment, so once you load your bedding (or order linen from us) and personal items, you're good to go! Perfect for two, the van can be set up with a double bed or 2 singles. Double glazed windows, with blinds & screens. Door has security mesh screen.

Special towing information

To tow this van you need: 1: A 7 pin flat plug; 2: A Hayman Reese or equivalent removable towbar; The van uses a specialty tow hitch, which can be fitted onto your tow tongue or the entire tongue can be fitted into the tow sleeve. 3: Minimum 3 ton towing capacity; I tow this van with my Mazda BT50. 4: Over 25yrs old and prior towing experience. Re brakes: I can hire you a portable electronic braking system which works with the van. You just need a smart phone to download the app for it to work. Once set up, (instant set up), the brakes will still work if you go in an out of range area. 5: The hitch on the van is a Cruisemaster DO35. If you have a Hayman Reese towbar, i can fit the correct tongue into it. The hitch can also be removed and fitted onto your tow tongue if necessary. 6: Towing mirrors are not necessary due to the narrow design of the van. Additional information

I have extra camping equipment available to hire, such as a BBQ, tents, sleeping bags, tables & chairs, camp ovens etc. Please just ask if you require anything else.

Hiring rules

Minimum 5 days hirer for all new hirers. Repeat hirers are welcome to contact me to arrange a shorter hire period.
EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call me!
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.
NO OFFROAD / NO Beach Driving / NO Extended Gravel Roads/ NO Smoking inside
CLEANING Please return van in clean condition (same as pick up). Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
All unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.

Hire Fee: From $120.00 per day
Service fee: $50.00
Delivery fee: $1.50 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

We hired the van for 5 nights. Due to a stressful handover and a few things in the van not working or missing this van hire was not as good as it could have been. This van gets very hot, if you can connect to power the aircon works good, but the fans dont do much on a hot day and unfortunately on our trip the battery system was not charging properly so we couldn't keep everything running to stay cool. This Van is also more comfortable set up as two single beds, you push the two singles together to make a double but the mattresses are different lengths and you loose a lot of floor space. All cooking utensils and cleaning supplies were in the van which was great. We didn't use the toilet but the shower worked and when the battery had power it had some pressure. We are unsure if there was a holding tank on the van depending where you were camping that could be an issue. It is a very light weight and tall caravan, I would suggest making sure the water tank is full before towing. We chose this van as it was dog friendly, unfortunately we broke a window shade on the last day and we are currently working with camplify to resolve the hire issues we had and fixing the damaged shade.

The van wasnt as advertised, not everything worked and there was a broken blind that didnt shut properly, 2 lights where stuck on the hole time and no use any power points

This was my first time in a caravan (Ive been a tent user mostly) and it was an enjoyable experience- once I got used to cooking inside Terry who did handover was super helpful as was Jo on the phone before booking.
