Our amazing Winnie joined the family in late 2019 and has been loved ever since. She has provided us with some amazing adventures which have all been helped by her creature comforts that our 'Glamping' lifestyle would come to expect. When buying we were drawn to this van for its light towing weight but also the higher than usual internal roof height, which is 2.1m - we are all tall people! We will provide all the goodies you need to enjoy your trip which includes, a BBQ, outdoor table and chairs, camp chairs and shade screens for the awning. If you're heading to the coast we can even throw in a couple of foamie surfboards. Just let us know at the time of booking. Winne is suitable for both powered and off-grid site options. There is plenty of water storage and the battery and gas will do the rest. Please note the M/W and A/C will not work when off-grid.

· Electric Brake Controller & Towing Mirrors are required when towing this caravan · The van is fitted with a 12-pin flat plug. Let us know at the time of booking if you'll need an adapter · There is also a grey Anderson plug that is used for charging the battery and keeping the fridge cold while towing · Winne is long and light and a dream to tow, however your tow vehicle will need to have at minimum 3000kg towing capability. · Van external O/A height is 3.1m

We love our van and we are sure you will too! So we ask that when you return her she is in the same state that you found her :) Here's a list of some creature comforts we know you'll love; · Full-size fridge and separate freezer · Microwave · Air-conditioner · BBQ with Bayonet gas hose connection · Oven and grill · Hot water system - electric when connected to mains power and gas when camping off-grid · Washing machine · TV, DVD, antenna · Outdoor shower with hot and cold water · Large roll-out awning · Mattress protectors provided. Hirers are to bring their own linen for the queen bed and two single bunks · Cutlery, plates, toaster, kettle, sharp knives, glasses, mugs, and cooking equipment provided

  • · If needed the kitchen table can be lowered and used as another bed. Would comfortably sleep one

  • · We are nonsmokers and trust you will respect our van by not smoking in it
  • · No pets inside please
  • · No Offroad or beach driving a short gravel road is OK to access your campsite
  • · Mattress protector and sheets are to be used at all times
  • · Report any damage to us, even if minor so we can be sure to replace/fix it ready for the next hire
  • · If you use the toilet, the cassette must be emptied and cleaned thoroughly prior to return
  • · We will hand the van over to you clean and tidy and we ask that you return it back just as you found it
  • · A minimum of $150.00 for delivery, setup and packup
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a big trip planned from act to South Australia then back home through the Great Ocean Road. Winnie was a terrific van for us and our two boys, with everything we needed to make us feel comfortable. With a couple of little teething hiccups early in the trip we overcame them with Peter with no problems at all. From start to finnish communication with Peter was excellent and pick up and drop off was easy and accommodating. Ten out of ten all round. We would be happy to hire Winnie again on another adventure.

    Wish it was a holiday - we were working but Winnie served us well. Would have liked to spend more time taking advantage of all she had to offer. Very well set up. Particularly pleased that the lower bunk bed would actually comfortably accommodate a largish adult with some mobility problems. Peter was great to deal with. We will be booking Winnie again if she is available when we need to.
