  Great Van, very organised and lovely people to hire the van from. Flexible with pick up/drop off. We've hired Skye twice and will use them again.

  Very disappointed. I would not rent this one again. I thought it would be fun to hire a boutique type campervan that looked cute. I made the wrong choice. The camper van cosmetically looked very nice but structurally was not that safe. There is a lamp that uses halogen lightbulbs and my 2 year old touched it and burnt himself. Screws didnt have caps to prevent you from accidentally cutting yourself or sticking out the back (this is due to either the wrong screws used or wrong placement) Too many things are close to falling apart or fragile enough to break. Couch area looked nice with the pillows but when you sat down the seat was coming away from the mdf board showing sharp little nails . The awning was also an issue. The clips are really fragile and not structurally sound, the awning metal is quite weak, and arms easily can come out of the tracks. This campervan is quite hard to tow because it acts like a wind sail (also didnt help that the campervan brakes werent engaged when put on). You end up having to drive 20km under the speed limit, especially when its raining. You cant see anything behind you either. Due to the old school style of campervan you actually end up spending three times more on fuel. Maybe this is a nice campervan if you are getting it setup for you and not towing. Maybe its a nice campervan if you dont have kids. This campervan is not designed for real camping, its too fragile. Cosmetically everything looks really nice but its just not practical. Not enough nice pillows can coverup all the problems that the campervan has. Next time Ill hire a more modern campervan that I dont have to be at a campsite and worry about how fragile everything is or safe everything is not. All in all with all the extra fees that get charged (you dont know until you get the payment receipt or they just charge you) we ended up spending more money than if we just stayed in a lux hotel, drove up and got a cabin, or hired a more modern campervan that wouldnt of wasted so much fuel.
