We’re thrilled to be part of your next journey. Here’s everything you need to know to make the most of your adventure while keeping Oyster Mk2 in great condition for future explorers. Rates: Rent a fully equipped ford ranger for $185.00 per day on normal days or $210.00 per day during peak season. Kilometer per day: You are allocated 300km a day and $.25 per kilometer over the allocated range. Otherwise you can opt for an Unlimited Daily Kilometer limit: $25.00/day Planning Your Trip: We encourage you to share your travel plans so we can provide up-to-date information on local conditions and road access. Oyster Mk2 is one of the toughest 4x4 campers in Australia, and we want to ensure you get the most out of your trip. In special cases, we may grant access to restricted areas based on your experience, at our full discretion. Respect the Vehicle and Environment: Enjoy exploring WA with Oyster Mk2, but please treat the vehicle and environment with care so that others can enjoy it too! Return Guidelines: 1.) Return the camper clean and ready for the next adventure. 2.) Strip the bed sheets and leave them ready for washing. 3.) A quick high-pressure clean at a DIY Rhino Wash (keep ample distance when washing the vynil wrapped area) 4.) Do not wash the rooftop tent. 5.) Clean any grease from the hotplate before storing it. 6.) Fill the tank with diesel before returning. There is a petrol station just 2 minute away from our location. 7.) Please select the “Clean the Van for Me” option if you're unable to clean the vehicle at the end of your hire. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unclean state. 8.) Please select the “Outback Trip Clean - Excluding Toilet” option if the vehicle is exposed to red dust and you’re unable to thoroughly clean it inside and out. Extra charges may apply if red dust is not properly cleaned upon return. 9.) Please review the Open-Shell Adventures - Cleaning Standards Document for more information. Please DO: - Enjoy yourself! - Ask questions if needed. - Have an incredible holiday! Please DO NOT: - Smoke in the vehicle. - Go through drive-throughs, underground parking, or automatic car washes (the vehicle is too tall). - Store fish or fishing bait in the car (cleaning fees will apply). - Exceed the speed limit. Please note that you are not permitted to stop the vehicle or park under the high tide water level at any beach Driving through water is not covered by insurance and is done so at the hirers own risk. No salt-water contact at any given time.

• Pets are allowed for an additional charge during booking.
• Do not store fish or fishing bait in the car (cleaning fees will apply).

• Clean after your pets, additional charge will apply for cleaning.
• Please select the “Clean the Van for Me” option if you're unable to clean the vehicle at the end of your hire. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unclean state.

  The truck and the service was just perfect! from check in to check out to follow ups during the road trip it was immaculate, easy and friendly service. The driving was great, the 4wD too, and the set up of the truck is with everything you would need (a couple in the car)... the highlight was to have so much storage space in the fridge which was a priority for us. Thank you Open Shell team!

  We did hire the vehicle for 11 days , open shell its been amazing from start to finish!! The set up its been brilliant and never missed a bit, electrical set up reliable as all the camping equipment from rooftop tent to awning to water supply to a massive fridge frozen, built in compressor very handy !! You guys doing an amazing work !! 100% Highly recommend !!

  We travelled from Perth to Exmouth and back and had a wonderful experience with this car on all types of roads (offroad, sealed roads, etc). When renting this car you have everything you need for a wonderful camping experience. The communication of Steven and Paige is outstanding and they are always happy to help! Would strongly recommend to hire this car!

  We're delighted with our trip to Western Australia. Although the climate is sometimes a little cold at this time of year, we really enjoyed the scenery in the national parks and the very good local organisation for keeping the places clean and preserved. The rented vehicle lived up to our expectations and was perfectly prepared for a few off-road outings. Steven was perfect and always listened to our requests. We're already dreaming of driving off again with Oyster Mk2
