This is Bruce! Bruce is a bit of a Brute and can go anywhere you want it to go! A 4WD built for exactly what WA road trips are all about.... - Off Grid Camping - 4WDing - Long Outback Drives - Full camp set up that takes minutes! The vehicle is located just 100m from Claisebrook Train Station, a 10 minute direct train ride from Perth Airport or a 10 minute walk from Perth CBD. We have set this camper up with all the necessary equipment, so all you need to bring is you personal belongs. We'll hand you the keys, and you will be ready to go on the holiday of a lifetime! Camping features include: - roof top tent (2 minute set up) - double Swag (optional extra for groups of 3 or 4) - bodyboard - Surfboard (optional extra) - 12v charging system: USB, and cigarette lighter charging ports - solar power - camping chairs - table - Big awning - canopy lights - massive lights on the side for night time hang outs or adventures the kitchen... - slide out fridge/freezer (set from 8 celsius to -16 celsius) - slide out kitchen and kitchen bench! - 44L water storage - All the storage boxes you would need - Two gas cookers for a full kitchen - Pots and pans - Full kitchen setup - salt, pepper, spice/herb drawer driving features.... - easy automatic transmission - reliability of the petrol Hilux! - 4WD high/Low selector - massive off-road quality tires, and suspension lift, bull bar - high powered spotlights (necessary for night driving in WA) - Easy to connect Bluetooth, Aux or USB stereo - refurbished seats with added cushioning for the long drives We have traveled all over WA and would love to share our insight with you! OPTIONAL EXTRAS (choose after booking) Surfboard Linen - This includes pillows, double duvet, sheets, and towels! (this is only for 2 people. The 3 and 4th people will need to supply their own linen for the queen sized swag) Recovery Tracks - choose this option of you're planning on going off-road. It includes a tire pressure gauge and air compressor for deflating/inflating tires, as well as recovery boards. The price includes 200kms per day hired totalled at the end of hire. (example: 10 day hire will include a total of 2,000kms) Additional kms will be an extra cost of 33c per km

Hiring rules

  • No smoking in vehicle
  • If you are OffRoading you must:
  • have your full itinerary approved (certain tracks and beaches will not be allowed)
  • choose the "Recovery Tracks" option (this will include all necessary recovery gear)
  • choose the "clean my van for me" option (this covers the extra cleaning costs of the vehicle)
  • any tire, underbody, or panel damage while offroading will be at the hirer's expense
  • if there is a breakdown while offroading, it will be your expense to get the vehicle from the track/beach to the main road (in the case that NRMA is unable to access your breakdown location)
  • 200 free km per day. 0.33$ per km after
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a great time down south with Bruce. This is our second time hiring the van and once again Ola was amazing with communication and helping us throughout. Would always recommend Bruce for peoples trips!

    We had an amazing time! All the gear we needed to have a great camping experience came with the car and sleeping in the rooftop tent was such a fun experience! Ola took time to explain to us how everything works and showed us how to utilize the gear and car! Thank you so much!

    We had the best best best time on our trip down south with Bruce. He had everything we needed which made the time as smooth as possible. Bruce was sturdy and could handle the roads down south easily and he was comfortable enough to full asleep in the long journeys. Ola was great at communicating with us the whole time, we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Thank you!!
