The truck and the service was just perfect! from check in to check out to follow ups during the road trip it was immaculate, easy and friendly service. The driving was great, the 4wD too, and the set up of the truck is with everything you would need (a couple in the car)... the highlight was to have so much storage space in the fridge which was a priority for us. Thank you Open Shell team!

We completed a round trip from Perth to Exmouth in Oyster Mk 1. Everything was great. I really appreciated Paiges highly responsive communication. We took the option of pick up and drop off at the airport which was super convenient. We had such an awesome trip in Oyster Mk 1. The car was well equipped with everything we needed and drove and handled really well. I would not hesitate in recommending Open Shell Adventures. Thanks Paige and Steven. I sincerely hope that we get to use one of your cars again.

We did hire the vehicle for 11 days , open shell its been amazing from start to finish!! The set up its been brilliant and never missed a bit, electrical set up reliable as all the camping equipment from rooftop tent to awning to water supply to a massive fridge frozen, built in compressor very handy !! You guys doing an amazing work !! 100% Highly recommend !!

We travelled from Perth to Exmouth and back and had a wonderful experience with this car on all types of roads (offroad, sealed roads, etc). When renting this car you have everything you need for a wonderful camping experience. The communication of Steven and Paige is outstanding and they are always happy to help! Would strongly recommend to hire this car!

The van was kitted out perfectly with everything we needed for a road trip around WA. The spacious fridge and dual power supply allowed us to be self-sufficient and the rooftop tent could be set up and taken down very quickly and easily. Paige and Stephen were always available for any queries we had along the way. We would definitely use Open-Shell campers again for our next trip!

10 out of 10 for Oyster 1, we were delighted with the vehicle and the generous and swift support from owner Stephen, which meant we had a fabulous trip. This Toyota Hilux is very well set up and equipped. It is comfortable, high spec and very safe. We spent 31 nights in the roof tent travelling from Perth to Broome and back; it performed beautifully throughout. You are ready for the outback from the moment you drive off, with a large fridge and freezer and long lasting lithium power. Small enough for a supermarket car park yet with capable off road performance it was the ideal choice for our epic journey; we highly recommend Oyster 1 and will be back for more. We're delighted with our trip to Western Australia. Although the climate is sometimes a little cold at this time of year, we really enjoyed the scenery in the national parks and the very good local organisation for keeping the places clean and preserved. The rented vehicle lived up to our expectations and was perfectly prepared for a few off-road outings. Steven was perfect and always listened to our requests. We're already dreaming of driving off again with Oyster Mk2

Traveling with the Oyster MK1 was an absolute pleasure, the ute is really well kitted with everything you need for the perfect camping/4x4 trip. Steve and Paige were really helpful and great with communication, will highly recommend booking the Oyster MK1 for your next adventure.

Very good set up with all the essentials that you need when camping down along the west coast.
