Cannot recommend this vehicle & company highly enough. We went on a 10 day trip to Esperance and we fell in love with the setup. The owner is so hardworking and kind, and you can tell its a thoughtful family run business. We had a great walk-through of the setup before we left and they send through some great instructions. The car drove very well and handled the tracks and driving on the beach. It was super helpful having the built-in compressor and tool to let the tyres down. The rooftop tent was comfy, great views in the morning and super quick to pack down. There's loads of storage space to put all your things. It comes with all the basics that you'll need. The fridge is amazing because it has two separate compartments for a fridge and freezer. The built-in water tank was so handy and there's even extra water and diesel canisters if you're going off-grid. Theyve truly thought of everything. Can't wait to hire it for our next trip!

Great trip down south. The Ute is extremely well kitted out for camping and really comfortable to drive on the road. 10/10

Had a family camping adventure down at shark bay, only a 3 night and 4 day trip but this beast of a car got us there and still did majority of the cool tourist! Even hit the tracks at cape peron and smashed the soft sand! All the tools needed as well! was very easy to follow the instructions on the set up even for first time campers using roof top tents, compressors and rapid deflators! Steven and paige was always available via campify and whatsapp to help give advice and always met our needs!

This was our second rental with Open shell and we had another great trip. The van is perfectly set up to be entirely self-sufficient and very user friendly even for novice campers like us. Steven and Paige were very responsive to any queries we had. Would definitely recommend for exploring the outback.

The truck and the service was just perfect! from check in to check out to follow ups during the road trip it was immaculate, easy and friendly service. The driving was great, the 4wD too, and the set up of the truck is with everything you would need (a couple in the car)... the highlight was to have so much storage space in the fridge which was a priority for us. Thank you Open Shell team!

We completed a round trip from Perth to Exmouth in Oyster Mk 1. Everything was great. I really appreciated Paiges highly responsive communication. We took the option of pick up and drop off at the airport which was super convenient. We had such an awesome trip in Oyster Mk 1. The car was well equipped with everything we needed and drove and handled really well. I would not hesitate in recommending Open Shell Adventures. Thanks Paige and Steven. I sincerely hope that we get to use one of your cars again.

We did hire the vehicle for 11 days , open shell its been amazing from start to finish!! The set up its been brilliant and never missed a bit, electrical set up reliable as all the camping equipment from rooftop tent to awning to water supply to a massive fridge frozen, built in compressor very handy !! You guys doing an amazing work !! 100% Highly recommend !!

We travelled from Perth to Exmouth and back and had a wonderful experience with this car on all types of roads (offroad, sealed roads, etc). When renting this car you have everything you need for a wonderful camping experience. The communication of Steven and Paige is outstanding and they are always happy to help! Would strongly recommend to hire this car!
