We had so much fun in the Oyster Mk1 for our South-West coast trip. Steven and Paige were great and were always reachable if we had any questions. The car provided all the necessary gear for our 18 day trip. Would highly recommend! :)

Unbelievable holiday in this off grid rig, highly recommend to anyone wanting the full experience to hire this beast and do a trip along the west coast. You wont regret it, cant wait to come back and do it all again. Hosts were also great couldnt speak higher of them!!

Wow!! What an absolute ripper of an experience honestly, one of the best road trips weve ever done. And fair dinkum, it all started with the unreal vehicle we got from Open-Shell! There were four of us, and everyone was properly comfortable even on those long, never-ending Aussie drives. No complaints, which says a lot. The car comes fully kitted out, so youre all set for camping without any hassle. And that massive fridge? Absolute game changer kept everything cold the whole trip, no worries at all. The rooftop tent is brilliant super comfy and dead easy to set up, even after a long day on the road. Also, the built-in compressor is such a clever touch. Being able to drop and pump up tyre pressure when heading on and off dirt tracks makes life so much easier proper handy bit of kit. And gotta say, dealing with Steven was a breeze. Always available, friendly, patient, and genuinely keen to help with anything we needed. Cant recommend these legends enough if youre planning a roadie around Western Australia, do yourself a favour and hire from them. You wont regret it.

The Oyster Mk1 took us on our first road trip in Australia, and we couldnt be happier. From long drives to rough terrain, it can do it all! It has everything you need to enjoy your trip worry-free, and everything is very easy to use and set up. Plus, the support from the team is great if you need anything on the go! Would 100% recommend for a next adventure

Highly recommended, we rented the Ford for three weeks. The handover was very pleasant and the camper's equipment is really top notch. Everything worked great, all the equipment and the car were in perfect condition and clean. The handover at the end of the trip was also very pleasant and easy. I have had experiences with other car rental companies where they tried to charge me for scratches or other damage that I did not cause, but that was not the case here at all. I am extremely satisfied; the vehicle, the equipment, and the service were excellent. 100% recommendation!

Van hire from Open-Shell was great, we had an amazing trip down South to Esperance. The truck covered all our needs, the roof tent was easy to use and pack away. Would recommend and would use again.

Cannot recommend this vehicle & company highly enough. We went on a 10 day trip to Esperance and we fell in love with the setup. The owner is so hardworking and kind, and you can tell its a thoughtful family run business. We had a great walk-through of the setup before we left and they send through some great instructions. The car drove very well and handled the tracks and driving on the beach. It was super helpful having the built-in compressor and tool to let the tyres down. The rooftop tent was comfy, great views in the morning and super quick to pack down. There's loads of storage space to put all your things. It comes with all the basics that you'll need. The fridge is amazing because it has two separate compartments for a fridge and freezer. The built-in water tank was so handy and there's even extra water and diesel canisters if you're going off-grid. Theyve truly thought of everything. Can't wait to hire it for our next trip!
