Hiring rules

• EMERGENCY If any engine lights come on the dashboard, pull over immediately. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA. Then call us.
• DAMAGE If any damage happens, please report it immediately We need to know who, what, where and when.
• NO OFFROAD / No UNSEALED roads and No on BEACH adventures.
• LONG TRIPS Hirers are welcome to travel in Escargot up to 150km's per day (on average per day of trip over length of trip). After this limit is reached, extra km's are absolutely fine just chargeable. Camplify will facilitate a charge of .75c per kilometre over the allocated allowance based on the start and end odometer readings and this will be paid for through your bond after the completion of the trip. This is to cover the depreciation on the vehicles value, the servicing of the vehicle.
• CLEANING AND RETURN Do not smoke or cook inside the cabin and return with the onboard equipment and the Van as clean as when you received it. Please bring it back with a full tank of Diesel.
• POWER Please do not let the power board drop below the amount specified on pick up this is not expected if you are driving every 12 days. If this happens when camping, unplug anything that is charging to avoid a further voltage drop and run the engine to recharge the second battery.

• Hirer must be 23 years of age or older.

  I went on a solo van trip on the south coast with Escargot for a week and had the best time ever. It was love at first sight with Escargot. Ethan did such a great job building the van: it is beautiful, practical and comfortable and I had a hard time giving it back. Maddie was very helpful and easy going which made me feel very safe from the start. This adventure made me want to get my own van and you can be sure that it will be Escargot inspired Thank you guys (One thing worth mentioning is that the bed probably wouldnt fit 2 tall people. I m 510 and had to sleep diagonally, which was perfectly fine and cosy but good thing it was just me )

  Escargot is the perfect van for two people. Beautiful to drive and the very tinted windows means enjoying views and keeping privacy at the same time. With tonnes of storage it was so easy to find what you need. Mads and Ethan are a delight to deal with. We will definitely book Escargot for our next van trip. Five stars!
