Rustie 1 is a quick setup, reliable, head turning camper that will make your family holiday one to remember. With ease of setup/packup, and convenience in mind, the rooftop tent will comfortably sleep 2 adults & 2 kids, or 3 adults. Plenty of spare storage for your luggage, a portaloo & shower, upright fridge as well as an esky, all linen is provided, plus your safety features such as fire extinguisher, first aid kit, PLB and GPS tracking. The canopy is fitted with internal and external lighting, USB & 12v sockets, 270 degree awning, camping tables & chairs, as well as cups, cutlery and crockery. Designed to be used completely off grid with solar panels & ample water storage. Boosters and baby equipment available for hire at request. Extra swag available for hire upon request. Off-road use may be permitted by request.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking/vaping allowed inside vehicle or tent. Hirers must be over 25 years old and have a current drivers licence. Vehicle must return in the same condition it left (ie, full tank of fuel, clean empty toilet, rubbish removed, etc).
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Amazing holidays in the Rustie. Fully equiped and very easy to drive, it was awesome. Samantha and Josh were super flexible and responsive. Very easy to communicate with both of them..We definitely recommend it to everyone and hopefully we will get the opportunity to use it again !

    The Indigenous Marathon Foundation (IMF) absolutely loved travelling in RUSTIE1 and RUSTIE2, they had everything we needed for a comfortable trip, camping totally off grid at Barunga Festival for 4 nights. The vehicles and equipment provided was clean and in great condition. We got lots of interest and comments of passers by, seeing RUSTIE1 and RUSTIE2 cruising around and at the campground. Thank you to Sam and Josh - great communication and explained clearly how to use everything. We will definitely consider booking these vehicles again in the future!

    Such a wonderful experience, seeing NT and driving around in Rustie Jam. Had everything we needed and more! We spent 1.5 weeks going around Litchfield, Katherine gorge, Mataranka and Kakadu. Could have done it slower if we wanted too. It was all just gorgeous! Thanks Sam for an awesome holiday.

    Had a fantastic time using this four-wheel-drive on roof top tent. We were out for five days around Litchfield National Park and our whole family of four really enjoyed the experience. Samantha was very easy to communicate with and made the trip very enjoyable.
