Marjie is set up for off grid camping. All solar and associated electricals are near new. There is lots of room inside and a well set up exterior kitchen with lots of storage. The roof is high but not enough if you're tall. However if you ARE tall you'll find this is a camper with a bed long enough to provide you with a comfortable night's sleep without your feet hanging off the end, so Marjie is perfect for you!!! The bed is super comfortable with a memory foam mattress as well. I have just added a portable shower/hose with an electric pump that runs of its own rechargeable battery. The battery can be charged via one of several USB ports in the van. The shower can be attached to the side of the van to rinse/wash off after a swim, fill the bucket with warm water for an even better shower!, Shower can be handheld to wash down a surfboard, rinse the sand off your feet or use in the 'kitchen' to rinse dishes, wash vegetables etc. Free pickup from Eastwood station or the closest bus stop, on request.

Marjie is tall @ 2.3m and a long 5.2m so parking in an underground parking lot is usually not possible, but her extra size makes for lots of room inside!...Oh and did I say, she's an automatic!!

Hiring rules

  • No Smoking, No candles inside, no off road or dirt roads. No cooking inside unless weather conditions are very bad. Minimum 2 nights bookings. There is a 200 kilometre per day excess which is accumulative over the total hire days. For example if you are hiring for three days, the allowance is 600 kilometres. Excess kilometres are charged at 20 cents per kilometre.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    I would highly recommend this van to anyone! It has everything you need and some extras that you wouldn't think of! Wayne was excellent as well. He gave my wife and I a full run through of how Marjie works and also had some good travel tips to boot. More specifically: it's very roomy, the battery system and fridge work great, there's a full pull out kitchen and every accessory you could think of. 11/5 stars!

    We had a great trip in Marjie! Wayne was very happy to demonstrate everything about the van and was very responsive while we were away. The bed in the van is great, so comfy! The cooking setup is excellent as well, everything we needed for a couple of nights out of the city.

    Everything was fantastic! The van was extremely well equipped with everything we needed, and Wayne was incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. Unfortunately, we couldnt finish our road trip due to a fall I had in the mountains, but Wayne was very available and responsive, making it easy for us to return the van earlier. We hope to come back one day to finish this journey that was cut short. Highly recommended!
