Ernie is ideal for the extended families that need that extra space. Fold out the Queen size bed at one end and the double at the other and there is still a heap of room inside the van. The table can fold down to a king single for even more sleeping space. The caravan has an internal shower and toilet with 120 litres of water. The stove top has an electric hot plate for when you are at a caravan park, or 3 gas hot plates for everything else. The van is set up for parks or off grid camping with 220 amp hour batteries, solar panels, usb charging outlets and led lighting inside and out.

Electric brake controller is available for hire in the extras area. Towing mirrors must be used and can be supplied by us. If travelling along a dirt road to reach your camp, caution must be used, this is not an off road caravan.

Please note: Minimum 7 day hire during Dec 22nd to Jan 10th. Minimum 5 day hire over the Easter weekend. Minimum 4 day hire over Vic & NSW public holiday weekends. Minimum 3 day hire at all other times.

Hiring rules

  • You must have previous caravan towing experience to tow our van.
  • No smoking inside caravan.
  • No dirt tracks, heavy corrugation or red dirt roads without owner approval.
  • The caravan use be returned in the same condition as at the beginning of hire.
  • Toilet must be emptied and cleaned or charges may apply.
  • Report all damage or breakage no matter how small.
  • No roasting of meat in the oven.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Loved Ernie! Suited our needs perfectly. Kylie communications were excellent and we cannot recommend this family owned business more highly. Everything was clean, set up ready to go making our holiday stress free. Small touches like the welcome hamper shows their attention to detail. Have absolutely no hesitation in booking again and again and again!

    We hired a caravan once again recently and honestly couldnt fault the experience. It was delivered on time, had everything fully set up and ready to go, and made the whole process super easy. The van was spotless, well-maintained and had everything we needed for a stress-free trip. At the end, they came and collected it without any hassle at all zero stress from start to finish. Brilliant service, great communication and really convenient. Will absolutely hire again and recommend to anyone looking for an easy caravan hire experience.

    This was my first experience at hiring a campervan. Kylie had "Ernie" set up for the kids and I upon our very late arrival at a caravan park. My 8- & 10-year-old had plenty of room to relax and the bed was roomy enough for them to share together. Kylie is great & fast with communication and was really helpful. The kids and I made some great memories.
