Additional information

New air-conditioning and new tyres (both updated in Nov 2023). Two different types of power: a battery for 120V power on the go and a plug for 240v power when plugged in to a powered campsite. New 12 volt battery which runs the fridge, internal lights and water pump. This battery recharges when you drive. It lasts approx 12 hours without charge if the fridge is running. We also have a small solar panel and that can be used to top up this battery; if the solar panel is connected and working well you can charge your phone or laptop from this battery. The microwave and 240V plugs only work when you are plugged into a powered campsite. When you are plugged in to a powered site the fridge and internal lights will work indefinitely. Natural sheep's wool insulation which we added after a very cold trip to Bright in June 2020!

Hiring rules

• Please empty any rubbish and the fridge before returning.
• Please remove linen from the bed.
• No smoking in or near the van.
• No offroad driving / beach driving / extended driving on gravel roads.
• Driving short distances on unsealed roads to access major campsites must be preapproved in writing (in Camplify Messages) before the trip begins.
• No smoking inside
• No pets
• Festivals may be approved, please let us know which festival you are planning to go to.
• Hirer age restriction 25 yrs.
• Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises.
• Vehicle must be returned clean and tidy or you’ll risk a cleaning fee.
• Standard pickup / dropoff times are 11am, do contact us for an earlier or later drop off though. Depending on the day we may be able to make it work.
• No freecamping.
• Any damage must be reported immediately – who, what, where and when will be required.
• Pull over immediately if any engine lights come on. If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe and call Camplify on 02 4075 2000 – they will advise on how to contact roadside assistance. Then call me.
• Cooking gas does not need to be returned full. However if you run out of cooking gas while on the road you can get it refilled at a BCF or Anaconda.
• Payment of a deposit is required within 48hrs of your booking being approved, otherwise we may cancel it.
• Kilometre limits (per day or per hire) – 300 kilometres per day are included in the booking price. You will be charged $0.30 per kilometre for additional distance travelled over the total allowance. This is calculated within Camplify’s pre and posthire checklist.
• Fuel – return filled with unleaded petrol fuel. All hires include a full tank upon departure

• Hirer must be 23 years of age or older.

  What an awesome Van and what an adventure !!! My partner and I did a Melbourne to QLD road trip and Van didnt miss a beat , was comfortable and the bedding was great. Set up was exact what we needed . For us it was prefect , Lauren and Mike were super friendly and helpful , amazing to deal with . Would rent again without questions

  Amazing Van and Wonderful Hosts! We recently rented the Experience Hunter from Laura and Mike for a 3 day road trip along the Great Ocean Road, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The van was absolutely perfect, spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed for the trip. It made our adventure so much easier and more enjoyable. Laura and Mike are incredibly kind and thoughtful hosts. From the start, they were easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed before we hit the road. Their friendliness and attention to detail truly made the whole experience special. I would definitely rent from them again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking to explore the Great Ocean Road or beyond! Agathe and Yohan
