Hi there! Our van is a dual axel Jayco Expanda Outback 17.56.2 (which means it's 17ft or 5.2m long and has a bathroom). She is a 2010 model is ready to take your whole family on adventures! - Sleep 6 - has one queen bed at the front, one double bed at the back and two bunks (which can be converted into a second internal table.) - Van is fully setup for off grid camping with roof mounted solar panel, 160 litres of water (2x80L tanks), indoor shower and toilet, hot water, gas kitchen, oven and fridge. It also has a Diesel Heater installed for winter camping! - For caravan parks you can just connect to mains water (hose included) and 240v power (15A cable included). Heater, aircon and microwave work with 240v power (will not work when off grid) - Really easy and safe to tow. Having two axles makes it very stable. We provide a weight distribution hitch (free of charge) which helps leveling the back of your car and gives great stability and control to the towing vehicle. DELIVERY AND SETUP AT VAN PARKS IS AVAILABLE (for a fee) If you want to tow it yourself you will need a car with at least 2.5T towing capacity. (Prado, etc) AN ELECTRIC BRAKE CONTROLLER IS AVAILABLE TO RENT IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE. Camp tables, chairs and all the accessories are also available. We also have various extras for a fee such as a large 3 person Kayak (Plus life jackets and paddles), Large 60L everkool Esky, Portable washing machine and clothes line and more.

EMERGENCY If an accident occurs, get off the road, stay safe, call Camplify on 1300 416 133 they call the NRMA.
DAMAGE If damage happens, you must report it immediately who, what, where and when will be required.

CLEANING Return the van in clean condition. Post return cleaning required incur a charge.
UNSEALED roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages before the trip begins. Please be familiar with the exclusions, terms and conditions of insurance coverage.

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

This van was really sub par. Weve hired a number of caravans over the years and this one was by far the poorest experience to date. The van was filthy on pick up, completely uncleaned, mould on the canvas and stinky wet mats throughout. The van was filled with old food dating back to 2021 (its 2024) and weevles. The cupboards are filled with personal belongings that were old, dated and tired - literally not a spare cupboard to bring anything personal. The toilet had poo in it, it stunk of urine even though it was apparently clean. It felt like we were boring an old caravan from a neighbour for free. Not a caravan professional hire. I wouldnt even eat off the cutlery as it was unclean with food still on it. We had to spend 3 hours cleaning the van and stocking it with our own personal camping gear before we could leave on our trip. A plug on the trailer brake was broken and the hirer told us to use a bit of aluminium foil and shell be right. The master bed is literally sleeping on a storage box - you can feel the metal underneath. The worst part was, we requested the hire and then after acceptance the hired increased our daily rate because he hadnt allowed for the long weekend. Whilst we made the most of our annual family Easter trip, it was a really poor experience with this van and I wouldnt recommend hiring.

Very happy with the caravan, Murray was super helpful and provided all the information I needed to make sure we had everything working. Was also on call 24/7 as we needed him. The van is older but suited us for our needs and had everything we required for our trip. Would definitely recommend Murray and his van.

This was our first time using a caravan and it was great, Murrays van had everything you needed. We were off grid and it was so nice having a hot shower and a cold fridge!!
