It’s designed for comfort and ease rather than off-road or remote travel. Please return the van in a clean and tidy condition, with fuel topped up as received. We ask that the awning is retracted in windy conditions and the van is treated with care, as you would your own.   At the beginning, the owner acknowledged some of the issues we reported and offered to reimburse us for one night of the rental. However, after the most serious incident occurred, she disappeared completely. We were frightened and stressed by what had happened, tried to contact her for assistance, and were simply ignored. We rented this van only two days before departure, so I understand that there may not have been enough time to check every single detail before handing it over. However, the overall condition of the van was far below what we expected and, in some cases, raised serious safety concerns. The van was delivered in a very dirty condition. The sink was filthy, the seats were stained, and there were personal items scattered everywhere. There was also a broken power strip, meaning we could only charge our phones through USB ports (fortunately, we had our own cables). We received no instructions on how to refill or empty the water tank, how to use the shower, or even where to find the gas stove that was advertised as included. Basic cooking equipment was missing, and we had to buy our own frying pans. The owner initially agreed to reimburse us, but after that she stopped responding completely. We also found broken glass containers among the kitchenware. The most concerning issue was the lack of mechanical and safety checks before the van was rented out. The tires were not properly inflated, the engine oil level was low, and the engine constantly made a whistling noise. Most seriously, the solar panel had not been properly secured and detached while we were driving. After informing the owner of this dangerous incident, we never received any further response. As a result, we had to continue our trip without electricity. We also discovered that one of the van's windows could be opened at any time from the outside, which had never been pointed out to us. This represented an additional safety and security concern during the trip. The photos in the listing appear to be quite old. In reality, the van was much more worn than advertised and did not have curtains, meaning sunlight came in very early every morning and there was no privacy at night when using the lights inside. Another detail worth mentioning is that the owner had no reviews on the platform at the time we booked. However, given the very professional-looking photos in the listing, we assumed she had already rented out the van before and therefore felt reasonably confident proceeding with the booking. Another major issue was that the van leaked whenever it rained. Water entered the interior in significant amounts, and we had to place containers around the van to prevent our belongings from getting soaked. We chose this van knowing it was a simple, budget-friendly "wild" camper, and we were prepared to compromise on comfort. However, the problems we encountered were not minor inconveniences but basic maintenance and safety issues that should be addressed before renting a vehicle to customers. We still managed to enjoy our holiday because we tried to overlook many of these problems, but unfortunately I would not recommend renting this van, especially considering the price being charged. After this experience, I would never recommendu it to anyone. The lack of safety checks, the poor condition of the vehicle, and the complete absence of support when serious problems occurred made us feel unsafe and abandoned. Zero safety, zero availability, and zero responsibility when assistance was needed. This was by far the worst rental experience I have had, and I strongly advise others to look elsewhere.
