Hiring rules

  • 1. Driving & Towing
  • • Drive to the conditions and stay under posted speed limits.
  • • No off‑road tracks, beaches, or water crossings unless stated otherwise.
  • • Only the listed driver(s) may operate the vehicle.
  • • No towing unless approved in writing.
  • 2. Fuel & Fluids
  • • Diesel only (no petrol under any circumstances).
  • • Return with the same fuel level as pickup.
  • • Report any warning lights immediately.
  • 3. Power & Battery Use
  • • Inverter is for short, supervised use only.
  • • Do not run high‑draw appliances at night.
  • • Solar panel must be set up daily when off‑grid.
  • • If battery drops below safe voltage, follow the low‑power rules provided.
  • 4. Appliances & Equipment
  • • Use all appliances as per the instructions provided.
  • • Do not leave BBQ, oven, or inverter running unattended.
  • • Keep fridge closed as much as possible.
  • 5. Campsite Rules
  • • No smoking inside the camper or under the awning.
  • • Keep all gear clean and dry before packing away.
  • • No pets on bedding unless you bring your own covers.
  • • Return all items to their original storage spots.
  • 6. Cleaning & Damage
  • • Return the camper in a clean condition (inside and out).
  • • Shake out sand, dirt, and grass before packing.
  • • Report any damage or breakage immediately — honesty avoids extra fees.
  • 7. Water & Waste
  • • Use water sparingly when off‑grid.
  • • Only put water in the water tank — no chemicals or greywater.
  • • Dispose of rubbish responsibly.
  • 8. Smoking, Alcohol & Behaviour
  • • No smoking or vaping inside the vehicle or camper.
  • • No excessive drinking or unsafe behaviour around the equipment.
  • • You are responsible for all guests using the camper.
  • 9. Return Conditions
  • • Return on time unless arranged otherwise.
  • • Fuel topped up, rubbish removed, and gear cleaned.
  • • Late returns may incur fees as per Camplify policy.
  • 10. Emergencies
  • • Contact me immediately for any breakdown, damage, or safety concern.
  • • For accidents, follow Camplify’s insurance process and obtain photos + details.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
