Share your next holiday destination with 'Genie & a bottle'. Whether it's a weekend away or a long-planned road trip adventure Genie is well equipped to cater for all of your needs. Genie, a 100 series Toyota Camroad is a midsize motorhome with a 4-speed automatic transmission (approximately 5mtrs/fits in standard car parking space/drive on standard car license). Genie is simply fun, easy to drive and fitted stylishly with all the necessary amenities. KITCHEN: Gas cooktop, gas hot and cold water, microwave (240v), 85ltr Bushman fridge/freezer (240v/12v). External portable butane gas cooker. Essential crockery, utensils and pans provided. BATHROOM: Toilet (cassette style), hot/cold indoor/outdoor shower head. SLEEPING: Over cabin near king size bed (LINEN/PILLOWS SUPPLIED) THE CABIN: Two-seater dinette, additional bench seat, plenty of storage for clothes, food etc, television (12v / 240v), reverse cycle air conditioner (240v). DRIVING CABIN: Power steering, power windows, two seats only (complied only for two passengers), air con, full-time rear-view camera, Alpine stereo with upgraded Rocker Speakers, security alarm fitted. THE RIDE: Genie is powered by a 3ltr 5l diesel motor (NOT TURBO). Genie is a comfortable smooth ride but definitely no speed demon. She will reliably get you to where you are going but if you are in a hurry perhaps consider other options. OTHER: Genie is fitted with both fresh water and grey water tanks. 200ah battery for off grid camping with 170-watt solar panel and a 40A in vehicle battery charger. Also, mains connection (power and water) for caravan parks. Fiamma wind out awning and basic necessities (two camp chairs two stools, ground mat and small outdoor table). Genie is an absolute head turner, unashamedly demanding attention wherever she roams. Complement your journey with Genie & (of course) a bottle.

Additional information

Sleeping quarters inside Genie is an above cabin bed. Large (near king size) and comfortable (mattress topper) but does require climbing a ladder and feeling comfortable with minimum head room. The cabin is extremely well designed and is packed with functionality, however if you are well over 6 ft. tall you may want to consider other options.

Hiring rules

  • Genie has a limit of 200 klms per day averaged out over the duration of your trip. (Additional cost of 80 cents per klm if exceeding an average of more then 200 klms per day).
  • Strictly No Smoking in van.
  • No Pets
  • Genie is not set up for extreme offroad travel.
  • Toilet cassette must be emptied before returning. (An additional charge of $50.00 will apply if not).
  • Any tolls will be charged to the hirer.
  • You will begin your hire with a full tank of diesel, Genie is to be returned with a full tank.
  • Genie is to be returned in a clean condition, both inside and out as you received it.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
