🌴 Beach Driving Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island trips are welcome and a great way to enjoy Buddy. (Please note: Buddy does not have the ground clearance required for Fraser/K'Gari) If you’re planning any beach driving, please select the Beach Driving Cleaning Fee ($200.00) under optional extras when booking. This helps cover the additional cleaning required after sand exposure. And also covers the cost of additional equipment included. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask—I’m happy to help plan your trip 👍

  • To keep Buddy in great condition for everyone, please note:
  • No smoking inside the vehicle
  • No driving in saltwater (beach driving is fine—just avoid water exposure)
  • No extreme offroad use
  • 🌴 Beach Access
  • Stradbroke Island and Moreton Island trips are welcome and a great way to enjoy Buddy.
  • If you’re planning any beach driving, please select the Beach Driving Cleaning Fee ($200.00) under optional extras when booking. This helps cover the additional cleaning required after sand exposure.
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had an amazing one-week trip to Noosa with this van and couldnt have been happier. Everything was clean, modern, well-maintained and in excellent condition. The rooftop tent was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to get a great nights sleep. The van came fully equipped with everything we needed, including a fridge, stove, chairs, a table, and all the cooking and dining essentials, which made the trip incredibly convenient. Melvin was friendly, responsive, and always happy to answer any questions before and during our trip. His communication was excellent from start to finish. We highly recommend both the van and the overall experience. We would definitely rent from Easy Escapes again!

    Buddy was amazing!! Perfect camper setup for exploring all that the Gold Coast has to offer. We had it for just over a week and enjoyed every moment. It was comfortable driving, with leather seats and warmers for when it was chilly It handled some pretty bumpy dirt access tracks with ease, and had lots of space for gear. The first meant that we could take days worth of food into the more remote areas without worry. The handover was extremely smooth and allowed the perfect level of flexibility. Definitely would hire agin. Thanks again for having us!!
