The vehicle also has a 270° awning, giving plenty of shade and cover around the side of the car when you’re parked at camp. There’s a 12-volt system with USB outlets to charge phones and other small devices, and a 40-litre fridge connected to the battery so you can keep food and drinks cold while travelling. The system is supported by a solar panel that charges while you drive, helping keep the battery topped up on longer trips. For washing up after a swim or a dusty day on the road, there’s a shower awning for privacy and a new On-Tap automatic shower system, supplied with two 16-litre water tanks. At the back of the Prado you’ll also find a fold-out table that works well as a small camp kitchen, and the car comes with all cooking utensils included.
