When windy, much safer to stay slightly lower than the speed limit. Cruises well at 90 km and average consumption is 13L per 100 kms. It will handle faster speeds, but fuel consumption increases.

Hiring rules

  • please use cleaning accessories provided to clean as you go
  • chemical free interior (please no heavy fragrances / sprays on internal van surfaces)
  • pets allowed only on application
  • if under 25, hirer excess of $950.00 applies in the case of damage / crash
  • no off road beach driving / extended unsealed roads over 10km, $950.00 excess applies in the case of damage / crash on unsealed road.
  • campervan to be returned clean and tidy or the cleaning fee is applied
  • return van with a full tank of petrol
  • for safety reasons, please average 200 kms or less of travel per day
  • please call with any questions or reporting damage / crash etc
  • for safety reasons, please avoid driving at dawn and dusk
  • full gas bottle included (just in case runs empty with extended use, fill up at mitre 10)
  • please ventilate van when cooking (eg open hatch and top windows and/or side

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
