A full, easy-to-follow setup and pack-down tutorial is provided after booking to ensure a stress-free experience, even for first-time caravanners.
Hiring rules
- Hire Rules – The Laughing Leader
- To ensure an enjoyable and stressfree experience for everyone, we kindly ask that all hirers agree to the following:
- 🚭 No Smoking or Vaping
- Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the caravan at any time
- This includes cigarettes, ecigarettes, and vapes
- Evidence of smoking may result in additional cleaning charges
- 🐾 No Pets
- Unfortunately, pets are not permitted in or around the caravan
- This helps us maintain a clean, allergenfree environment for all guests
- 👨👩👧👦 Occupancy Limits
- The caravan sleeps a maximum of 5 people
- Only approved occupants are permitted to stay overnight
- 🛣️ Where the Van Can Go
- Suitable for sealed roads and wellmaintained gravel roads
- No beach driving, extreme offroad tracks, or water crossings
- Any damage resulting from prohibited use may be the responsibility of the hirer
- 🚗 Towing & Operation
- Hirer must have a suitable tow vehicle that meets all towing requirements
- The caravan must only be towed by the approved driver
- Hirers must follow all setup, packdown, and operating instructions provided
- 🔌 Power, Water & OffGrid Use
- Please be mindful of battery, water, and waste limits, particularly when camping offgrid
- The van must be returned with toilet cassette emptied and waste tanks managed correctly
- 🧼 Cleaning & Care
- The caravan is to be returned in a clean and tidy condition
- Dishes washed, rubbish removed, and interior left as found
- Additional cleaning fees may apply if excessive cleaning is required
- 🎪 Events & SubHire
- No festivals, parties, or subhiring without prior approval

Cancellations
Strict
- Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
