She’s not brand new – being a 2001 model, she has some cosmetic wear and signs of age – but everything is clean and functional. A few important notes before booking: • This is a 2001 Jayco Penguin — it’s clean, cosy and comfortable, but has some age-related cosmetic wear. Please book with the understanding that this is a simple, affordable camper, not a luxury caravan. • Delivery is strongly recommended for most guests. The van is lightweight and easy to tow, but delivery provides the safest and least stressful experience. • Minimum nights apply, especially during peak seasons. We generally do not accept <4 night hires due to setup and cleaning time required. • You must book your own caravan park site if staying at a holiday park. A powered site is recommended for fridge and lighting. • If towing, you must confirm your vehicle’s tow rating and have appropriate towing experience. (We may decline towing requests if we feel delivery is safer for the van.) • No smoking or vaping inside the camper. • Pets are allowed by request only. Please message before booking. • Christmas–New Year: Instant booking is disabled during this period as we will be away. All requests must be approved manually. • Please return the van clean, including dishes washed, surfaces wiped and floor swept. A cleaning fee may apply if the camper is returned excessively dirty.

Hiring rules

• Minimum hire periods apply.
We generally do not accept <4night hires due to the setup and cleaning time required. Please check the calendar for minimum nights during peak and offpeak periods.
• Delivery is preferred for most bookings.
The Little Penguin is best enjoyed when delivered and set up for you. Towing may be approved on a casebycase basis depending on vehicle, experience and destination.
• If towing, you must confirm your tow vehicle’s rating and have towing experience.
We may decline selftow requests if we feel delivery is the safer option for the van.
• No travel on unsealed or corrugated roads, beaches or 4WD tracks.
This protects the van from damage. Sealed roads and caravan parks only.
• No smoking or vaping inside the camper.
• Pets are welcome by prior approval only.
Please keep pets off bedding and upholstery.
• You must book your own caravan park site if staying at a holiday park.
A powered site is recommended for fridge and lighting.
• Return the camper clean and tidy.
Dishes washed, surfaces wiped, rubbish removed, floors swept. Excessive cleaning may incur a fee.
• Any damage or issues must be reported immediately.
• Not suitable for festivals unless approved in advance.
• Driver must be 25 years or older (for towing hires).
• Please store food securely.
Avoid leaving food scraps inside the camper, as this may attract ants or wildlife.
• The roof must be lowered and secured before towing.

Hire Fee: From $60.00 per day
Service fee: $100.00
Delivery fee: $2.00 per km

Cancellations

Flexible

Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
