Welcome to our 21’ Vivid Explorer Family Bunk Caravan — we’re so glad to have you! This van is our family’s pride and joy, and we’ve set it up so your stay is as easy, comfortable and stress-free as possible. Everything is fully equipped and ready to enjoy from the moment you arrive: cosy beds, a complete kitchen, indoor and outdoor showers, games, beach gear, outdoor seating, TV inside and out, and lots of thoughtful extras to make your holiday special. We deliver, set up and pack down the van for you, so there’s nothing to tow or figure out — simply turn up, settle in and start relaxing. If you’ve booked delivery, please make sure someone is available at the arrival time so we can walk you through the essentials. If you’re towing, a compliant vehicle and electric brake controller are required. Inside the van you’ll find a full welcome folder with instructions on how everything works, emergency contacts, and troubleshooting tips. All cleaning products, toilet chemicals, fresh linen (if added), cookware, and outdoor items are included. We kindly ask that you treat the van with care, keep food sealed, and report any breakages or issues so we can fix them quickly. Check-out is simple — just make sure dishes are washed, rubbish is removed, and the toilet is flushed (unless you’ve selected the optional toilet emptying service). We’ll handle the rest. If you need anything at all during your stay, please message us anytime. We hope you have the most amazing holiday making memories in our family caravan. Enjoy every moment!
Hiring rules
- 1. No Smoking or Vaping
- Strictly no smoking or vaping inside the caravan, under the awning, or near open windows.
- A cleaning/deodorising fee will apply if smoke is detected.
- 2. No Pets (unless approved prior)
- Pets are not permitted unless written approval is provided before booking.
- (Pet fee may apply.)
- 3. Toilet Use
- Please use supplied toilet chemicals only.
- Toilet must be emptied before return unless the toilet emptying service is added.
- 4. No OffRoad Use
- The caravan is not to be taken offroad, on sand, or on unsealed rough tracks.
- Wellmaintained gravel roads into parks/campgrounds are fine.
- 5. No Festivals (unless approved)
- Festival hire is only permitted with prior approval due to increased wear, cleaning and risk.
- 6. No Climbing on Roof or Bunks
- For safety reasons:
- • No climbing on the roof
- • Top bunks have strict weight limits (listed inside van)
- 7. Keep Doors & Windows Shut in Heavy Wind/Rain
- To prevent damage to hinges, blinds and seals.
- 8. Awning Safety
- Awnings must be retracted in high wind or storms — damage is not covered by insurance.
- 9. Children Supervised
- Children must be supervised around:
- • Gas appliances
- • Steps and bunks
- • Outdoor swing
- • Awning area
- 10. No Cleaning Fish or storing bait inside the van
- Please keep smells and mess outside.
- 11. No Shoes on Beds
- Helps protect bedding and upholstery.
- 12. Report Any Damage Immediately
- So we can repair quickly for the next guest and avoid additional replacement costs.
- 13. Return Condition
- Before checkout, please:
- • Wash dishes
- • Wipe surfaces
- • Empty fridge
- • Remove rubbish
- • Flush toilet (if not using addon service)
- We handle all deep cleaning.
- 14. Power & Water
- Please follow simple instructions provided inside the van to avoid:
- • Overloading power
- • Running tanks dry
- • Blocking the toilet
- 15. Towing Rules (if applicable)
- If you are approved to tow:
- • You must have a compliant tow vehicle
- • Electric brake controller
- • No speeding over 90km/hr
- • No reversing onto soft sand or steep inclines
- • Full briefing required before departure
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
