Tardis

Tardis may be “short” at only 16ft, but when you open out the bedroom slider, you get the floor space equivalent to a much larger (23ft) van. Tardis also houses a bathroom with high pressure shower, (compost) toilet, sink & vanity large enough for two people to “share”, should you so choose. Additionally the interior of Tardis features: * Stay comfortable with a split system a/c unit (for when connected to 240v), a pair of Sirocco fans (when wild camping on 12v) and a diesel heater for those chilly winter evenings/mornings * A hotel-grade double mattress with memory foam topper for extra comfort * Bedside tables with USB sockets * Reading lamps * A breakfast bench and two chairs * A 150L upright fridge (35L freezer space) * Large armoured glass windows with screens let in loads of light, fresh air/breeze, and amazing views * Black out canvas window coverings for when you want a lazy sleep in * 2100L of storage closets for your clothings and pantry space for the groceries * Linen (wool duvet, fitted sheet and pillows) and bath towels are provided * The electronic safe provides peace of mind when you’re away from your campsite On the outside you have a fully equipped kitchen under a heavy duty awning. The kitchen (stocked with the basics) consists of a dual burner gas stove with a glass top backsplash and a single stainless steel sink with a glass top. There’s also a microwave and (single) induction plate (for when connected to 240v) for convenience. Two camping chairs and table are perfect for relaxing around the campsite. When camping “of grid” you have: * 100 A/h Lithium power charged by solar * A 200L fresh water tank * 2x Grey water tanks totalling 150L * A 2200watt inverter to power those 240v essentials I tow the van to your preferred location within the Port Stephens area and set it up for you. All you need to do is book the campsite, pack your clothes, food and beverages and enjoy your “glamping” holiday in comfort and style. All the “hard work” is taken care of. If desired you could provide me with your shopping list and I can even stock the pantry and fridge (additional fee applies). At the end of your stay you just give Tardis a quick clean and I will pack up and vacate the campsite. Tardis is perfect for couples who like to relax (or perhaps a bit of adventure) in comfort. Towing fees: * FREE within the Nelson Bay Area * Anywhere outside o Nelson Bay is subject to a $1.50/km towing fee. Additional fees: * Cleaning fees will be applicable if Tardis is not left in a neat & tidy manner * Damage and/or breakages will attract repair/replacement fees
