As WA Vanlife addicts we are happy to give you all the tips you need depending on your travel destinations! Van is located 5 minutes away from the Freemantle Train Station (you can easily grab the train from the airport ) NOTE : KARIJINI IS NOT PERMITTED

Hiring rules

• AGE RESTRICTIONS: Driver / Hirer must be 25 years of age or older and hold a valid driver's licence
• FUEL: return Wooden Gem 4 with a full tank of diesel
• MILEAGE: 200km per day is included in your booking. Additional kilometres will be charged at 45 cents per km.
• NO OffRoad or Unsealed Roads / NO Karijini trips / NO Beach Driving
• If there is any evidence of unapproved off road travel, an additional cleaning fee of $500.00 will be applied for undercarriage deep cleaning
• CLEANING: please return in the same condition as you collected (inside and outside) or an excess cleaning fee will apply. If you are not intending to clean the van inside out, please select " clean the van for me"
• Strictly no smoking
• EMERGENCY: In the event of an accident or if any warning lights appear on the dashboard, pull over immediately and call Camplify 1300 416 133. Then please call me.

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  We used the Wooden Gem, for 4 days on our trip to Margaret River and had a really good experience. The van was very clean and well looked after. It drove smoothly and felt reliable the whole trip, even on longer drives. Its a simple setup but very practical, with everything we needed for a comfortable few days away. I mean it was a great and stress-free trip. We would definitely use it again.

  The campervan is a reliable vehicle. However, it is only suitable for paved roads, which are not standard everywhere in Australia. The power supply for lighting, the water pump, and the fridge is sufficient thanks to the solar panel and battery. The campervan is practically laid out and offers plenty of storage space. The air conditioning worked very well. The interior height is only about 1.55 meters, which makes cooking and washing dishes inside the van a bit uncomfortable. The mattress is rather thin but manageable for 19 nights . The engine is located in the drivers cabin, so it is quite loud while driving. The owner is very helpful and competent and supported us extremely well during a breakdown. Overall, we are satisfied with the campervan. Because we never drove at night, we had an accident-free trip (kangaroos, wildlife).
