🚐 Vinnie - The Vanlife Venturer 🚐 Vinnie is my special Toyota Hiace campervan, designed by me for Australia vanlife travels and mini adventures along the East Coast. Vinnie has everything you need for a comfortable, off-grid road trip. ABOUT VINNIE Vinnie lives in South Gold Coast, close to the Gold Coast Airport—perfect if you’re jumping off the plane and straight into your vanlife adventure. Vinnie is equipped for off-grid living but not off-roading. Built-in wooden dining table and chairs. The campervan accommodates 3 passengers with seatbelts and sleeps 2 comfortably in a double bed. Need space for one more? You can always hire our swag for the third person. KITCHEN AND DINING Gas cooking setup with cookware, frypan, and utensils included Cutlery, plates, and dining items Fridge and freezer to keep your food fresh Coffee, tea, and a little care pack to kickstart your trip SLEEPING Full linen set: 2 pillows, 2 cushions, sheets, doona, throw, and towels POWER AND OFF-GRID SETUP Solar panels USB ports AMENITIES Awning Camping table and chairs Water tank Pets welcome—bring your small to medium-sized dog along with their bedding LOCATION Pick up Vinnie in Burleigh Heads or Palm Beach, South Gold Coast—just a 15-minute drive from the Gold Coast Airport. Pick-up is available most days by appointment, and drop-off or alternative handover locations may be arranged upon request.

Hiring rules

  • This vehicle includes a 200 km/day allowance. Excess kilometres are charged at $1.00/km. Smoking is not permitted, and pets are allowed upon prior approval. The vehicle must be returned clean and with a full tank of fuel. Offroad driving is not permitted.
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Tahnie was lovely to deal with ,van was excellent had a great time

    Everything was great. The only thing is that the water tank is quite small so you have to refill every day or two if youre travelling as a couple. Tahnie was super helpful and responsive. The van is equipped with 4 fans so you wont sweat at night. Great experience

    Vinnie the van was awesome! Very thoughfully designed, and it provided all we needed for our little get away. The best thing was that it allowed us to take our little dogs camping with us! Thanie was a pleasure to deal with, great communication. We will certainly consider hiring Vinnie again for our next adventure! Thank you very much, Thanie x
