Hiring rules

• No Smoking in Caravan
• • Toilet must be emptied and cleaned by the hirer if used and absolutely no smoking in the van.
• • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.
• • Special towing information
• The van has a 7 pin flat plug and your vehicle will need to be capable of towing 3.5 tonne. We have most trailer plug adapters, please let us know what plug your car has so we can be prepared for you.
• • APPROVALS Before we can approve your request, please advise the details of the holiday.
• • NO OFF ROAD To ensure you have a brilliant holiday, please no Off road, Beach Driving or extended unsealed or gravel Roads. Unsealed roads must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages with the owner before the trip begins.
• • INSURANCE COVERAGE For your peace of mind, please be familiar with the terms and conditions of insurance coverage.
• • PETS Pets only upon application only. If you wish to bring your pet, please bring your own linen. A small pet fee is applicable.
• • PICK UP / DROP OFF TIMES Drop off and set up times are negotiable. Once set, changes must be preapproved in writing in Camplify Messages with the owner before the trip begins.
• • DAMAGE / INCIDENT If damage or an incident, you must report it immediately to Camplify Please report; who, what, where and when occurred. Then please call me!
• • CLEANING Please clean the equipment and caravan. Excessive cleaning will incur a charge.
• • CHEMICAL TOILET The chemical toilet must be emptied and washed out prior return or a fee will be applied.
• • GENERAL Awning must be packed away before bad weather arises. Please limit cooking inside the caravan (please use the BBQ provided).

• Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

  Van was excellent, everything worked, and Adam went through the van with me before I took off. I would recommend Adam at anytime aaa+++

  Adam was responsive and very easy to deal with. He even put the fridge on for us so it was cold when we arrived. A couple of little issues ie: the shower was a little dirty, one of the storage doors kept falling off and there's no mirror at all in the van. Otherwise, everything functioned as it should, the van is very comfortable, particularly the queen bed mattress and is well stocked with crockery, cutlery and utensils. The fridge/freezer is a great size and the heater worked a treat. I would certainly hire this van from Adam again and would recommend it.

  The van is simple with a queen bed & 2 bunk singles. The mattresses in the bunks are foam with very little padding. The queen mattress is comfortable enough but does have a fold in it that can be felt on one side. It has a small sink, aircon, fridge, sound system, stove & ensuite. We couldn't connect to the speakers & didn't use the ensuite or inside stove, but the aircon worked very well on the 32-degree days. The van was very dirty/dusty & could definitely do with a thorough cleaning between hires, especially the toilet & shower, utensils, crockery & cupboards etc. The toilet had been used before we picked it up & appeared to still be dirty & had a bad smell, so we needed to close the door to try & keep it confined to the ensuite area. We had to buy dishwashing liquid, a scourer & rubbish bags because there wasn't any provided & a bucket for the outside kitchen wasn't provided either, so water flooded under the mat before we had to borrow one. The water only worked from the tank, even when connected to mains, and Adam said he'd have that looked at. The coffee & sugar were both rock hard inside their containers, so they weren't usable. We had no power the first day & night because of an electrical fault with the circuit breakers. Adam was agreeable to have it fixed by any means & did try to find a local repairer who was able to come out on Good Friday. We eventually found a local electrician via the caravan park manager who replaced the breakers & the van power worked well after that. We paid the repairer & Adam reimbursed us at drop off. The fridge took 2 full days to cool enough to put perishables in, but the freezer worked really well. The awning isn't sealed against the van, so it allows rain to drip down the side & wet things leaning against the van. This was our first time hiring a van & it was pretty expensive, so we're very disappointed with the lack of cleanliness & provided products. Next time we will know the things to check before picking up a van. We did take photos on pick up & as we found any issues
