Additional information
Our campervan is personally maintained and cleaned before every hire, and is easy to drive and well-suited to both first-time and experienced van travellers. We’re always happy to walk you through everything at pickup so you can hit the road feeling confident. We’re based just 10 minutes from Brisbane CBD and pride ourselves on being friendly, responsive hosts and are available if you need help during your journey. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out — we’re always happy to help
Hiring rules
- To ensure Rolling Retreat stays in great condition for everyone, we ask that the following guidelines are respected:
- • Daily travel allowance: 200km per day. Additional kilometres are charged at $0.50/km.
- • No smoking inside the vehicle at any time.
- • No offroad driving (sealed roads only).
- Festivals: While we don’t typically hire for festivals, responsible renters may be considered upon request.
- • Shower: Cold water outdoor shower available.
- • Toilet: No onboard toilet — please plan accordingly.
- • Pickup: Available any time from 9:00am.
- • Dropoff: By 5:00pm on return day.
- • Fuel: Van must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
- • Age requirement: Hirer must be 25 years or older.
- • Damage reporting: Any damage or incidents must be reported to Camplify and the owner as soon as possible, including details of what happened, where and when.
- • Cleanliness: Please return the van in a clean and tidy condition. Excessive cleaning may incur an additional fee.
- • Fines & tolls: Any fines, tolls or infringements incurred during the hire are the responsibility of the hirer.
- Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations
Flexible
- Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
- Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
- Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
