Desert Queen would be your home away from home for a perfect holiday. The van has all the mod cons: a fridge, TV, reverse-cycle air conditioner, gas heater, oven, and microwave. It has many amenities, including a washing machine, shower, and toilet. The kitchen includes basic utensils, plates and cutlery. We will set up the van and pack it for you so you can spend your time enjoying your holiday! Note: The pricing and minimum stay are higher during school holidays. There is an additional delivery charge ($2/km). For popular nearby places like Crescent Head, Hat Head, and South West Rocks, the delivery fee is between $300 and $350. I charge a flat rate of $100 for Port Macquarie and its surroundings.

Hiring rules

  • Extra service charge:
  • An additional $100.00 fee will be charged if the van is delivered to offgrid locations. For example, Diamond Head and Point Plomer.
  • Extra charges would be applied for the following:
  • Toilet cassette not emptied: $250.00
  • Caravan left extremely dirty, requiring extensive cleaning: $200.00
  • BBQ left dirty, including underneath the plate and waste collection cup: $100.00
  • Additionally, the following are not permitted:
  • Cooking involving extensive frying. If the kitchen area is found dirty (with oil stains), extra cleaning charges mentioned above will be applied
  • No smoking. If the van smells of smoke, a $500.00 fine would be applied
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    We had a great holiday in the desert queen! The van was excellent. No problems at all- clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Beds are very comfortable and we had linen included which was lovely and fresh with plenty of towels etc Vipul was a pleasure to communicate with. He is really friendly, helpful and responds fast to any questions. The van was set up and ready for us at the arranged time which made for a wonderful start to our holiday. I Highly recommend hiring this van. We hope to do so again in future.

    We had the best camping holiday weve ever had thanks to The Desert Queen. The caravan was really comfortable and had everything we needed and more that we didnt know we needed. Everything was functioning and easy to use. Vipul was friendly, easy to communicate with, extremely helpful and efficient. We really appreciated everything and are keen to book again! Thanks Vipul and Desert Queen! :)

    Great van, and I highly reccommend. We Stayed in a powered site and was able to make use of the whole van and its accessories, including the Airconditioning which was great in the hot summer weather. The outside Awning was great for entertaining and cooking on the BBQ.
