Maurice is a fantastic van, originally designed as a surf van. We have added further to him over the years and have now decided to let others enjoy his company. He has a 4 speed automatic transmission and drives extremely easily, with plenty of power for motorway driving. His key features include: - Spacious kitchenette with gas oven and stovetop, brand new fridge, working modern sink and taps and ample storage space for cookware - Slide out table, ideal for indoor eating on those rainy days - Spacious and comfortable double bed (and bedding if required) - More storage space than you could fill in one holiday (shelves, wardrobes, cupboards and drawers for all needs) - Roof rack with floodlights so powerful you're not sure if its daytime - Surfboard rack - 2 large batteries with solar panel and inverter system (also connected to alternator) - Upgraded speaker and central screen for pristine music and sat nav capabilities - 4 USB charge ports in back and 1 in front - 2 large water tanks giving up to 100L tap water - Hidden emergency toilet unit - First aid kit and fire extinguishers - Drives superbly and is subjected to regular maintenance Maurice has a lot of character and this list is by no means exhaustive. Included with the van is a document detailing all the required information including the functionality of all systems, locations of things like batteries, fuse boxes and spare wheels, and any other necessary information for your trip.

Hiring rules

  • No smoking in the vehicle
  • No offroad travel (beaches, water logged tracks, 4WD tracks, others of this nature)
  • No modifications to the structure or subsystems
  • No more than 3 people in van travelling at any one time
  • Hirer must be 21 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Lottie (my mini schnauzer) and I absolutely loved driving Maurice around for 4 nights over the Easter weekend this year! It was our first campervanning trip, and Maurice had everything you could need! The bed was super comfy, and I loved the little chairs and pull-out bench. Also had LOADS of storage. Chris and Jess were really great with organising and handover and would happily hire from them again!

    This was a really fun and comfortable 6 day soiree. Highly recommend Maurice as a rental option.

    The campervan was absolutely amazing. The only true caveat was the sliding door jammed very easily and made it quite difficult to get in and out at times. Otherwise, Ive rented a few campervans in the past and this was by FAR the most multifunctional and versatile. The inbuilt tap and stove were especially handy, not the mention the amount of storage space and other utilities. Christopher was also quick to respond to every enquiry I had throughout the trip and I couldnt be more satisfied overall.

    Took the van on holidays for 3 weeks, driving this van was easy and comfortable. The Bed itself is also very comfy and there is plenty of storage! Chris was great with assisting for any issues we encountered on this trip as well.
