Harold the Hiace

Harold has been my companion and travel buddy to my partner and I for the past tow years, mostly just for weekends away and a quick trip up the great ocean road. But not a whole lot, I’ve Decided that he deserves to go on more adventures and as I only really use him a few weekends out of the year might as well let other people have enjoy taking him out too. I built him from the ground up all by myself, a lot of blood sweat and tears went into creating him, but also plenty love and thought. He’s super dependable as he’s a Toyata, hence the name Harold. “You know Harold’s just this guy who’s will show up for you when you need him, you know the type of guy who will always return your lawns mower with with a full tank of gas and never forget your birthday. You know that guy” I said to my partner one day as we were driving. The features: -200watt roof mounted solar panel -138 amp hour battery -40amp renogy solar and DC to DC charger -60l fridge -roof extractor fan -wall mounted fan -2000w inverter (can power any small appliances) -completely insulated walls and ceilings, Harold will stay warm in winter and cool in summer -three overhead bright down lights -2.5meter awning, with sunshades -shower tent + submergible pump shower -pull out kitchen with camp stove and all kitchen utensils -inbuilt 50L water tank fully internally Plumbed to a tap inside the van aswell as a sink big enough to do all dishes -double bed (it’s super comfortable, my partner is a fussy sleeper and she loves it) would fit a 6ft person length ways -all other camping stuff like table chairs, lanterns, head torches, speaker, shovel for if you’re camping without facilities, tarp which I use as a wall for the awning, second awning shade wall, there’s also a toasted sandwich maker name Tiffany -all camping cookware, fry pan, pot, chopping board, cups plates bowls, kettle, cutlery, cooking utensils etc - two USB charging ports, on at the bed head, one at the base of the bed -mood lighting for chilling late at night -mosquito net on side door -there is also a phone/tablet holder mounted above the bed to watch movies on Someone said he didn’t have AC listed on the listing but the AC and heating in the van are in perfect working order If you don’t know what all the silly numbers mean with all the solar and electric side on things: it basically means as long as you are getting a good amount of sun into the solar panel Harold should be able to stay off grid indefinitely as long as you aren’t being excessive with the battery usage Harold is a small to medium sized van, but he still has all of the things that you need to camp comfortably and in style 😎
