Welcome to the Ausventure Tvan. This is an Australian made 2020 Track Tvan Inspire model designed as a premium long range off-road capable expedition trailer. This 20th anniversary model celebrated 20 years of Tvan. The van is designed to provide all the amenities of home in a compact lightweight package focused on the flexibility of quick setup and pack-up. Set up ranges from 30secs for basic overnight sleeps to 10 minutes for the whole tent and awning. It's perfect for a couple looking to get off grid or can cater for a family with a couple of kids. The van is equiped with everything needed for your adventure, simply bring your own bedding requirements clothes and food and you’re set. The Tvans permanently setup queen size bed design allows for maximum comfort and storage, featuring overhead/side wall storage pockets, reading lights, USB charging at the bed head as well as 200 litres of storage underneath the bed, all easily accessible at the touch of a button with the Skyward deck. The interior is heated by the Webasto diesel heater. Once the solid rear deck and tent is deployed your living space is doubled with ample standing/dressing room or the option of accomodating 2 children on a roll out/inflatable mattress. The van features pull out stainless steel kitchen with two burner gas stove and permanently connected running water as well as 60l ARB fridge. This side of the van is protected by the quick cover awning. The right hand features another 200 litres of storage for all your other camping items. Powered by 120W solar panel on the roof charging the onboard 100Ah lithium battery through a 25A DCDC charger. You can also charge from your car if you have an Anderson plug fitted or an external solar blanket/panel. The trailer has storage for 108 litres of fresh water and holds two 4kg gas bottles. The owners Michael and Cassie have travelled extensively throughout Australia including a full lap in 2019. The Tvan is the perfect lightweight complete package for both experienced and beginners. It has everything you need for enjoying the outdoors without having all the issues of trying to tow a larger van. It also is a great option if you are planning on purchasing one yourself, try before you buy. Additional information All bookings made require a deposit within 1 week to secure the hire. *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** OFF-ROAD: Yes, this unit can be taken off road with prior approval, please note your destination in your booking request. Please notify us with your booking enquiry about your intended route, experience 4WDing, and detailed tow vehicle specifications. Failure to do so will result in loss of Bond. Please note caravan insurance policies does not cover under body damage caused from off road use, and other forms of damage may also be excluded. *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** SERVICE FEE: As part of our premium service we carry out a comprehensive hand over and return service. The handover service will take approximately 1 hour. During this time one we will show you how to set up and pack up our camper. This will enable you to use our van to its full potential. The service fee is a once off fee per hire and is not negotiable. BATTERY INFORMATION: The hire van battery must be charged using one of the following methods: onboard solar, vehicle charging via Anderson plug, 240v charging at caravan parks, or by selecting the option for a portable 120W solar panel kit, which costs $50.00 per week. Further to this if the battery is flattened during the hire period, you may incur charges to replace it. If you are hiring the van for more than 1 week, we strongly recommend installing an Anderson plug with low voltage cut off (to protect your 4wd starting battery) and brake controller. The van does come with an onboard (Bluetooth) brake controller, but for long hires, we prefer that your tow vehicle has an electric brake unit and Anderson plug wiring pre-fitted. *** ------------------------------------------------------------------------ *** ADDITIONAL INCLUSIONS: Unlimited kms included per week, within reason. Cancellations

Flexible

  • Cancel earlier than 10 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 4 and 10 days before the start of the booking and receive 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 4 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

    Michael was fantastic. He went through everything we could possibly have needed to know. Very easy to communicate with. A great guy. The TVan was brilliant. It was like brand new. It was easy to tow and to set up and had everything you needed for a getaway. We only needed our bedding. If youre looking to try to buy one or are looking to hire something to go to places less traveled this is the camper and the man to hire it from.

    We had an amazing camping experience with the Tvan rented from Michael! From the start, Michael was incredibly helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth trip. The Tvan was perfect for off-road adventuresrugged, easy to set up, and packed with thoughtful features. The kitchen was well-designed, storage was ample, and the whole setup handled all conditions effortlessly. Thanks to Michaels expertise and well-maintained Tvan, we had a stress-free and enjoyable trip. We highly recommend renting from him and will definitely be back for another adventure!
