2 hours waiting for someone to provide van key on first day dispite earlier agreementto meet at 14:30 no show till 16:30 -no cooker as paid for provided but gas bottle supplied -instructed no not used awning due to rip which is a huge impact considering recent weather -bed sheets and linen provide as a one off payment but recharged ever extension -Blow out on rear driver wheel and rudely told by owner it was due to manner off driving when no long distance travel or off road undertaken -Extremely poor customer service while stranded in the rain at side of road for 3 hours -instructed how to use hot water but never worked -informed window is defected and does not work or lock resulting in flapping around -Extremely disappointed and ruin the travel trip -would not recommend for hire for anyone who is looking for a comfortable arrangement

Not bad. Gas bottle was leaking - so we couldnt use stove top. Linen provided was good but pillows ageing a generally an old van (almost 500k on odometer). Issue with door open signal beeping even when closed

Very good set up for its purpose. Great amenities, shower especially was a hit. Quick easy set up. We did a long trip only camping at night and moving on and for that reason I would leave the out door lounge behind to make extra room but that is only a personal preference. Well stocked tool kit and tyre changing gear was awesome. Also surprisingly good on fuel considering it has so much power. Had an awesome adventure in it.

The Toyota 'Mighty Beauty' Campervan was better than expected. The van was clean, quite spacious and very well stocked with everything. Byron Bay's communication and professionalism was fantastic from the initial phone call to the hand over of the van from Sarah at Tweed. I can't fault this experience except foolishly, I ran out of petrol. I am very pleased to say that I contacted Camplify and they immediately responded to my distress and we were topped up with petrol and on our way within 40 minutes - Well done to Camplify and their instructions in break downs or help if required. I am a very happy camper and recommend these guys. My Father, who is 99years of age enjoyed the trip also with no problems at all.

Review of The Beach Shack Campervan (3-night stay, Mt Tamborine) We had a great time in The Beach Shack campervan during our 3-night stay at a powered campsite in Mt Tamborine. It was our first camping trip with our 10-month-old, and the campervan made it super comfortable for the whole family. Comfort & Sleep: The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and we all got a great nights sleep despite being in a new setting. The van was well set up to accommodate us and our little one. Fridge: The fridge worked really well, although we had it on the coldest setting and it froze some of our food and drinks (it may have been a freezer setting?). After we adjusted the temperature, it worked perfectly. Cooking & Kitchen: We didnt use the gas cooktop since we had access to power and brought along an electric stove, so I cant comment on that. However, the microwave was a great help for thawing out some of our frozen food it worked without any issues. Issues/Minor Details: One of the flyscreens was missing on the passenger side, but the evenings were cool so it didnt bother us. The radios volume was a bit tricky to control. No matter what, we couldnt get it below a volume of 21, which was a bit loud at times. The inside handle on the backdoor seemed a bit loose. It still functioned fine but could probably use a little attention. The photos of the camper seem to be stock images, and while the van does have a slightly older feel, it was still very clean and comfortable despite its "shabbiness." Final Thoughts: Overall, The Beach Shack was a great camper for our first family camping trip. Despite a few minor quirks, it was very comfortable, clean, and functional. We would definitely rent this camper again for future trips.

I had a great holiday and the van size was perfect for me as a sole traveller. Sadly one of the draws was missed in the cleaning between customers with spilt coffee etc throughout the draw. Also the fridge, although empty was quite smelly and obviously overlooked in that pre-hire clean. Regretfully I do need to mention one other point in the endeavour that the owners rectify this problem before renting it out again. The bed collapsed on me on half a dozen occasions. There was only me and I'm 75kg, so it wasn't overloading. The problem was the board that is fitted between the two seats/storage units was too narrow and kept slipping off the lip it sits on. I'm sure this can be easily rectified.

Spent 8 days with it, went perfectly with absolultely 0 problem. Few minor things are damaged inside but didn't make any inconvenience, I'd say for its age and price that's fair. Good communication with Aviv and Sarah. I recommend renting with their company.
