G'day guys my name's Dave, and my family and I would love to welcome you to share our passion with the great outdoors. Getting the kids out of the house and off screens is such a priority these days, and for a long time we found getting away was limited to either expensive hotel rooms where the kids often couldn't be themselves or just didn't have the opportunity to make new friends. After a period of camping in hot stuffy tents we decided to hire a van ourselves which of course led to the purchase of Stan the Van, and as such never looked back. It allows you the freedom to just pack the basics and get away with the family whenever and wherever you want regardless of weather. If your a seasoned camper or simply trying for the first time, we recommend making a date with "Stan the Van" and drag the kids along to another world of Sunshine - Fresh Air - BBQ's - and good old fashioned family fun. These will be the memories they treasure from there childhood, not their highest score on Minecraft!! ...so be sure to give them plenty of real family memories to look back on. So just do It!!.... the kids will have a ball and you will feel relaxed and you might even start a new family tradition. And don't forget if you have any questions please feel free to ask.. We had a lovely stay in Stan the van. It had everything we needed including towels which was great. Unfortunately we did get a few days of heavy rain which made it a bit hard as the awning did leak. Overall we had a great stay. Thank you.

Van was very clean, tidy and the beds were very comfortable. Daves communication was amazing and answered any questions I had quickly. Dave also set the van up with some added extras I wasnt expecting 10/10.

David was fantastic. Stan the van was set up prior to our arrival with not only the items mentioned, but some lovely treats and those little essentials needed for a week away. The van was clean and comfortable and our family really enjoyed our time away in Stan. We hope to rebook again.

Dave is a wonderful person and great communicator. The van was perfect. It has literally everything you need and more. Comfy beds, space for 4 adults and a well equipped kitchen. Couldn't have asked for more. Thanks Dave!

When we arrived at Reflections Camp in Byron Bay, the finishing touches were being completed to our lovely little retro caravan. We are from South Africa and visiting my daughter and family for Christmas. The caravan was a surprise gift from them after they had kidded us that our accommodation was a rooftop tent - at our age!! The caravan had everything we needed and more. Beautifully decorated with lovely little touches inside and out. We wanted for nothing - even down to a blue tooth boom box! Crockery, cutlery, a pod coffee machine, fridge of course, running water for the basin and an extremely comfortable bed. Outside, a table and camp chairs under an awning competed the picture. It made our stay just that more special and I would recommend salt gypsy without hesitation. Thank you so much. Five stars!!!

This Jayco was so comfortable and the layout was excellent giving us so much room inside. Dave added foam mattress toppers to both beds which made them extra comfortable! Dave was so easy to deal with - he responded really quickly and the service he offered setting up and packing down the van was an added bonus. We will definitely look to hire this van again! .

Dave's communication has been great from day one. The caravan had everything we needed and more. There were some minor inconveniences with the water pump (manual) not doing its thing and it was difficult to get good water flow out of the tap and the fridge wasn't cold enough but overall I think the experience was very pleasant.
