Our first experience of Camplify and caravaning started off well. When we picked up the caravan I was so excited I did not fully stop and check the condition of the van. Once home I saw that the cupboards were dirty and covered in grime and that there was childrens clothing left in some of the draws. Despite this we persisted with our trip, which sadly was not meant to be On our first morning of towing 2 hours from our starting point our car engine blew and we were stranded. At first Phillip was really accomodating and helpful, talking me through how to operate the aircon in the caravan and offered to tow us to a caravan park for a fee. However, due to the expenses of towing, new engine and an inability to hire a car to continue on our trip, we respectfully requested a credit note to use once we were back on our feet. Phillip denied this request which was his right, though was extremely disappointing. Once we decided to tow the caravan back, Phillips communication disappeared. He removed his ad on Facebook and did not answer our calls and texts. Upsettingly he could not even tell us that the caravan arrived back at his property safely, thankfully our Towie took a photo for us as proof. Nor did I get a thank you for returning the caravan in such clean condition as I thoroughly swept and wiped down all cupboards and surfaces in the van for the next hirers.
