As first time caravan users this was extremely disappointing. The description of the van and what we received were 2 very different things. The van was filthy on pick up and took over 2.5-3 hrs to clean inside. There was no instruction given on the overall use of the van. Weve never used a caravan before and I was shown the bare minimum. I wasnt told nor shown that the standing legs can be dropped and that there was a tool for it. Thank goodness for other campers who saw us struggling and came over to help. Additional side mirrors for the car were paid for and we were told that they didnt have them and we would be ok. Im still waiting for my refund. The list of things that were not provided that the caravan was meant to have are endless. The jockey wheel provided has a maximum weight capacity of 350kg as per the safety sticker on the wheel. The caravan has a approx weight of 3000kg! Other campers were mortified that this had been provided. As first time users of a caravan we had no idea and not until we saw the sticker on the jockey and did we realise why the other campers were so shocked. The hot water wouldnt connect so we were unable to use the shower. We tried with both electric and gas and it just didnt work. The toilet dump trap was full and had to be emptied after we arrived at the campsite and there was also no liquid for the toilet provided. Unable to use the toilet because as soon as you opened the seat lid it stank. The awning was broken and had to be taped as the parts required to hold it up were missing. The oven also did not work and there was no coffee machine. The mattress protectors provided were also dirty and stained but thankfully we had our own linen that we could use. Weve raised our issues with Camplify and provided photos and are awaiting the outcome of this. This was our first time using and renting a caravan and it will most certainly be our last.

Thanks so much to Mark and Mandy for an incredible Van hire for Cup Weekend for our family getaway to Torrumbarry Weir. The Van has everything you need from a hot shower to a super comfy bed and bunks. It was a super easy pick up and drop off. Mark also gave us some fantastic tips for the road. Mandy was also a great support when we had any questions along the way. We would highly recommend and hire again for sure. A big thank you again.
