Great car! Had an amazing trip to the Yorke peninsula and the flinders ranges. Would recommend bringing some tupperware or a pot, everything else was supplied. Thanks Guy!

We took the van for a 6 days trip in the Flinders Ranges and it was perfect. The van is well equipped, all the security features in modern cars are here, we had everything we needed for camping and the solar panel and battery were great, we didn't need to use anything else to charge our devices and power the fridge.

We had a fabulous trip to the Flinders Ranges in ConCon. The rooftop tent was extremely roomy and comfortable, and so quick to put up and pack up - literally a couple of minutes. The fridge, freezer and lighting inside and outside the car made camping a pleasure, and the solar panel means you will never run out of power. The huge awning was also quick to set up and pack away. Guy was very responsive with communications and was happy for us to pick up the car early and drop it back late. There were loads of places to charge phones and other devices. Unfortunately we didn't get the chance to use the shower and water heater unit (not enough water around). We would definitely recommend ConCon for a fun and easy camping trip.

Excellent car, works and handles like a dream. I'd recommend bringing your own supplies and not relying on the ones provided, as it's a bit random.

Guy was easy to deal with for this hire providing good information and quick follow up. His flexibility about needing to change dates due to rain closure of roads helped us enormously. His excellent 4x4 made our trip to Lake Eyre very easy and we managed to get to all our destinations. Would use Guy again if we are in Adelaide.

2 week holiday Adelaide to Alice return. Single mum with 2 teens. One in the tent with me, the other in the swag. I had a couple of turns in the swag too. Absolutely phenomenal trip. When the teens were being teens, I could single-handedly set everything up in under 15 mins in the end. Much less if the teen set up his swag.! The constant power source was amazing. We charged torches and a speaker by day and phones by night. Fridge/freezer was new to my camping experience and a game changer. Nothing like pulling out an icecream at the end of a hike at Kata Tjua! The lighting set up was brilliant (literally). I loved being able to see everything at a flick of a switch, instead of trying to hold a torch! I hadnt used a camping hot water system before. That was really cool and handy at one free camp where we had a lot of dishes. We were driving nearly every day and our power never went below 87% from memory. Never had to plug the system in. I tossed up for AGES over whether to rent an RV, or tow a caravan or camper trailer. This set up gave us just enough comforts to enhance our true camping experience. Nothing to tow and the comforts, technology, fuel efficiency and accessibility of a Toyota HiAce. Many RVs and vans I looked at didnt even have cruise control and certainly couldnt go off road. Also, I could never have achieved this trip if I had car camped- which was my final option. There would have been too much time to set up and take down everything. Freeroads set up was like a Swiss Army knife, with everything there to just pop out! Communication with Guy was great. Absolutely no issues. Thank you for giving my family the ability to make some awesome memories.

Ruffo is a fantastic car. The rooftop tent is very spacious and comfortable! (we're two tall adults) Car has furthermore everything you need and Guy is easy to communicate with, and he always replied swiftly to our questions. Definitely recommend!

We had the van/Hilux for 9 days on a family road trip (3 people around South Australia. Everything went fine and worked well (easy to manage set up and clean, drive). We enjoyed our time! However, If its raining or windy and you want to stay dry it may not be your best choice. We were lucky with the weather so it wasn't an issue. Guy is a great communicator and helpful along the way. Great value for money if you are looking for an easy to set up outdoor adventure (on and off the grid!)
