We hired this caravan for the weekend for our first ever caravan trip and overall had a really great experience. The van itself was beautiful, comfortable and well set up for being off-grid. The water lasted us the entire weekend which was great, and the diesel heater was an absolute game changer overnight. We slept so comfortably. Crystal was also very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions, even in the evening, which we really appreciated as first-time caravan users. Pick up and drop off was easy, and she was very flexible in allowing us to drop the van at a different location on the way home due to her not being there, which made things much easier for us. There were just a few small things that didnt match the listing description or needed attention. Some items listed as included were missing, such as a kettle, hand soap, dish soap and a tea towels. The diesel also wasnt topped up on pick up, so we needed to stop and fill it ourselves (around $10 worth). The seating lounge was also broken, so we were a bit hesitant to use it in case it became more damaged. One thing we think would really improve the experience, especially for first-time caravan users, would be having a simple guide with photos explaining how to use and set up different features of the van. For example how to set up the toilet with chemicals, turn on the gas for the heater, use the inverter, etc. We worked most things out, but a visual guide would make it much easier and more stress-free for beginners especially if you have no phone service. Overall though, we had a lovely weekend and would still recommend it, especially for anyone wanting a comfortable off-grid getaway.
