We had a nice trip of two people with the van. Very charismatic car with what is needed for a nice weekend out camping. Franck was very nice to us and he was clear in communication.

Our experience was unfortunately tainted by several issues surrounding our booking. Our event reservations @ Jervis Bay were cancelled due to a very bad storm on the day of pickup, which we understood was outside the owners control. We did not request a refund, but did ask to reschedule our dates. This request was declined, leaving us to proceed with the trip or forfeit the cost. His choice, but ethically, this felt wrong to us. Ironically, at pickup, we were informed that the tent can leak in heavy rain, which was not disclosed in the listing. Additionally, when the weather cleared and we attempted to use the air conditioning, it was not functional. This was also neither disclosed nor mentioned during handover. We were also only informed after arriving near our campsite that the vehicle requires premium (98) unleaded fuel. This was not disclosed in advance, which after everything else going on was just another upsetting moment. When we opened the tent, there was noticeable dampness and a musty smell like they didnt air it out. While some wear is understandable with camping equipment, we also found a used tissue in one of the pockets, which was unhygienic and unpleasant. The owner was nice & very communicative during our trip. The vehicle works but we will not be using him again. While we understand that some factors are outside anyones control, clearer communication and transparency around key details would have made for a much better experience.
