Camplify Uncovered: Three days, one motorhome and six happy campers
)
Candice, Patrick and their four children make up the beautiful Tanna Family. You may recognise the Tanna Tribe from Instagram where they document their family life and adventures. Read on to learn what happened when Tanna Tribe recently headed on a weekend adventure with Camplify to try a motorhome family getaway..
“Motorhoming is always something we as a family have wanted to try and we’d love to own one of our own one day.” - Candice, Tanna Tribe

After travelling down from North Queensland, Tanna Tribe picked up their motorhome in Mountain Creek on the Sunshine Coast. Mountain Creek is the perfect spot for an RV pick-up when you're heading down the east coast as it's only a quick detour off the M1.
Tanna Tribe's house on wheels for the weekend was a 6-berth Mercedes Sprinter Motorhome - TheEscape Retreat. The Escape Retreat is a spacious, luxurious and very easy-to-drive vehicle. These motorhomes have been designed for the whole family due to the flexible floorplan that's perfect for not only the kids but Mum and Dad too.

Prior to booking the Escape Retreat, Tanna Tribe had not travelled in a motorhome and they had no idea these vans could seat, let alone sleep up to 6 people. This motorhome in particular was a great fit for Tanna Tribe due to the multiple anchor points available for the two smallest kids' car seats.

The first two nights of Tanna Tribes weekend adventure were spent at BIG4 Gold Coast. BIG4 Parks are great for first-time Camplify users as they have a large range of powered site options available. Including sites with your own ensuite bathroom, so it’s perfect for those who are just wanting to dip their toes in the deep end of camping.

BIG4 Parks know how to win over the hearts of kids and BIG4 Gold Coast is no exception. You’ve got pools, waterslides, a jumping pillow, frisbee golf, table tennis and even an off-road remote-control car track! Plenty of activities to keep the kids entertain and screen-free for hours.

If you’re planning on taking the kids to the theme parks these school holidays you should definitely consider a stay at BIG4 Gold Coast. Movie World, Wet'n'Wild, and Outback Spectacular are just a stone's throw away from the entrance of the park. BIG4 Parks are also pooch friendly so even the more furry family members are welcome to stay.
For the last night of the weekend getaway, Tanna Tribe stayed atBIG4 Sandstone Point. This Park is located on the shores of Pumicestone Passage and nestled directly in the middle of Brisbane CBD and the Sunshine Coast. Much like the BIG4 Park located on the Gold Coast, this park has been designed for families. The pool is the perfect spot for everyone as not only do you have a 500sqm pool but it's also topped off with comfortable sun lounges that are within close reach to the bar… perfect!

Tanna Tribeloved their first motorhome experience but if the motorhome lifestyle doesn't sound like it's for you or you don't have the ability to tow a caravan, perhaps our RV delivery option is the way to go!
For the last two years a lot of school holidays have been spent at home so why not consider a house on wheels this coming summer? The best part is, that you can enjoy the wonders Australia has to offer without even looking for your passport.
