)
As part of our Travel Around Australia series with Boost Mobile, we caught up with Boost Mobile ambassador and # 2 surfer in the world, Jack Robinson, to get an inside scoop into his hometown and state. Western Australia is full to the brim of pristine natural beauty, and there is a good reason why pro surfers and ocean enthusiasts head to this world-class location year upon year.
Covering nearly one-third of the entire country, Western Australia is incredibly vast yet diverse. Peppered with Aboriginal history and culture to sweeping vineyards and mind-blowing landscapes, you must brush up on your photo skills to capture it all. The ocean is a massive draw for many visitors visiting this coast, and we are lucky enough to get some local tips from Western Australia native and Boost Mobileathlete Jack Robinson.

Western Australia is a mecca of underrated gems, and Margret River is one of them. Boost Mobile caught up with the # 2 surfer in the world and local Jack Robinson. This pro has spent his life in the surfing spotlight. From a 12-year-old grom in the waves to being touted as the next big thing, he isn't afraid of a big wave or two.

What are your top 5 things to see and do in Margaret River, and why?
1. Surf! You must have heard about Margs being a world-class surfing destination, right? My top tip is to surf!! The best waves in Australia are right here in Margaret River. Grab a van and camp along the coast and surf every day. I promise you won't regret it. Whatever your ability, there are waves for everyone.
2. Watch the sunset at Surfers Point and enjoy the coastline Grab some fish and chips from the local food truck and head to the beach for a picture-perfect sunset. You will find huge swells here at Surfers Point and an incredible viewpoint. This point attracts some of the world's best surfers, holidaymakers, and sunset enthusiasts.

3. Visit the wineries and their restaurants It's not all sandy toes and epic swells. Margaret River is home to some of the best wineries in the world. If you fancy a tipple, explore the vineyards and sample the incredible food and wine experiences on offer. Jump on a tour to get the best of both worlds and grab a few bottles to take home… it never disappoints.
4. Paddleboard the "Margaret River" Are you looking for a chill arvo activity? Margret River Stand Up Paddle will take you on tour showcasing the best of the wilderness in the Blackwood National Park. Spectacular scenes and fantastic memory-making for the whole family.

5. Visit the farmer's market and enjoy local produce Eating local and food sustainability is key in our region. We love a good feed here in WA; nothing tastes better than a fresh crayfish or homegrown fruit from the trees. As you travel around, drop into the local bakers, fishmongers, and produce shops for some of the best homegrown and picked food in Australia.
Tell us about your favourite camping spot when you were growing up?
Camping is an Aussie pastime, and when growing up, my family would take me for week-long camp trips up the coast. We would travel through north-western Australia, chasing the waves and sunsets for as long as I could remember. We would surf, fish, and explore all day. Some of my favourite childhood memories were created at Kalbarri right through to Exmouth. Every time I am on home turf, I head out for a camping and surf trip, it brings back incredible memories, and I can't get enough of Western Australia life.

Known to navigate some of Western Australia's heaviest tubes with ease, Jack knows a thing or two about the ocean and the land where he was raised. Given the remoteness of Jack's home turf, it's essential he has good coverage, and that's why he chooses Boost Mobile to stay connected.
