10. Cape Leveque, WA
Picture this, open woodland, unspoiled beaches, and calm tidal flats just waiting for you and your sense of adventure. Grab a four-wheel drive and adventure down red dirt roads deep into the Dampier Peninsula. Famous for its striking landscapes and rich Aboriginal culture, you can experience a real bush-tucker adventure while keeping the folks updated during your travels.

4. Winton QLD
Known as the outback hub of Queensland, this friendly outback town has a lot to offer those on the road. One of the most popular attractions is a visit to the Australian Age of Dinosaurs. You will find one of the planets only known preserved dinosaur stampedes. Feel like getting your groove on? Check out the musical fence, a wire fence installation that can be played as an instrument.
Book a night at the Winton Wanderers Caravan Park, just 2 km out of town, featuring large drive-through sites, giving you plenty of room to spread out and relax.

3. Cape Otway, VIC
The Great Ocean road is an iconic Australian road trip destination. Venture through Cape Otway and witness some of Victoria's most remote and scenic landscapes. Check out the rainforest, abundant native wildlife, and the famous Cape Otway lighthouse, Australia's longest serviced lighthouse. Feel like a little hike? Strap on your hiking boots and explore part of the Great Ocean Walk and the towering cliffs along the coast.
For a secluded stay, meander down to theBlanket Bay Campground on the eastern shore of Cape Otway. Swim, snorkel, walk, beach, relax, and look for Koala bears overhead in the Manna Gum Trees.

2. Binalong Bay, TAS
