Camplify Uncovered: stunning Noosa collaboration adventure
)
Camplify Uncovered is a series of travel stories in collaboration with our favourite creators from OzShot. With a van, a camera and a spot on the map they will share their trip highlights, where to eat, great places to stay, incredible locations, hidden gems and things not to be missed.
In our next Camplify Uncovered collaboration, we sent Alex & Hannah from Ozshot up to Noosa for a weekend of good food and adventure all from the comfort of the customized and fully off-grid ‘Spirit Van’. Experienced campervan adventurers, this would be their first time in a caravan. Arriving with the van already set up for them at The Habitat Noosa Ecocamp, they were free to experience all that Noosa had to offer, in the most minimalistic way possible.
OzShot

OzShot is the largest amateur photography magazine and community in Australia, OzShot is a group of Australian and international photographers whose goal is to nurture and inspire the next generation of creative photographers.
With it being so easy to get your hands on a camera these days, they’re helping photographers of all genres ranging from mobile photographers, film photographers and everywhere in between to tap into their own creativity.
Off We Go...

Hannah and I set off on a short weekend adventure in collaboration with Camplify to where else but our favourite place? Noosa.
Home base for us for the weekend was the awesome off-grid caravan, ‘Spirit Van’. The van was designed and built by the owner, Simon, as the ideal weekend van.
The Spirit Van is naturally kitted out with everything you could possibly need - with the added benefit of being designed for living off the grid. This thing is fully solar!
Our Favourite Spot, Re-Explored
Over the weekend we explored a whole lot of what Noosa has to offer, including some lesser-known hinterland spots.

My favourite part of the Camplify experience is that all their vehicles are owned by, well, the owners!
With the standard rental company cut out of the equation, you get to engage directly with the people who pour their energy, heart and soul into these vehicles for you to enjoy and use.
Our van was dropped off for us right here at Habitat Noosa Ecocamp, on the shore of Lake Cootharaba, meaning we were free to come and go on adventures during the day and our home for the weekend was always here waiting for us - meaning more time to explore and enjoy our surroundings! Big thanks to habitat Noosa for having is in such a beautiful place
Hidden (and not so hidden) Gems

No Noosa trip is complete without a walk in Noosa National Park which never fails to disappoint (even when you’ve gotta wait for a solid half an hour for a park!). Beautiful, but definitely not something I would call a hidden gem.
Undoubtedly some of our favourite moments of the weekend were some of the lesser-known and lesser-visited parts of Noosa up in the hinterland.
We stopped off in the idyllic hinterland town of Pomona for a feed and quick drink at the Pomona Distilling Co. which was an absolute treat and arguably the best feed in town!

Sunday was spent cycling one of the many trails that traverse the Noosa Hinterland. We chose the Kin Kin Country trail, a loop which starts and ends in Kin Kin, passing through several farms and pockets of forestry in the area. The trail itself was very picturesque and I can’t recommend it enough.
