1. Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort

Cairns Coconut Holiday Resort is located in a lush setting just seven minutes’ drive from Cairns city centre. It is a perfect base for exploring one of the most stunning places on the planet – the Great Barrier Reef.

2. Les Tournels Holiday Village

St Tropez is one of the world’s great luxury holiday destinations. It is a place full of multi-million dollar yachts, movie stars, sunshine, vineyards, and more. This is the setting for Les Tournels Holiday Village.

The site itself has a stunning pool and waterpark, but you can also go to the famous Pampelonne beach just a short distance away. And in the evenings you can sip French wine in the charming village of Ramatuelle.

3. Camp Vira

Hvar in Croatia is a place frequented by stars like Jay-Z and Beyoncé. They, like other visitors, are attracted by the charm of the town, the stunning beaches, and the wonderful restaurants.

Camp Vira is just three miles from Hvar and is the perfect base to explore this part of Croatia. It has its own restaurant and bar, a diving school, and a private beach.

4. Camping Marina di Venezia

If you have ever wanted to visit the canals of Venice, this caravan and camping site is an ideal place to stay. You can get to Venice via a short boat trip, with the ferry about 3km from the park.

Camping Marina di Venezia is located on a beach plus it has its own waterpark, complete with nine pools and loads of slides.

5. BIG 4 Peppermint Park

BIG 4 Peppermint Park is an awarding winning caravan and holiday resort in Western Australia. It is located in natural bush-land but it is just a short walk away from the beautiful beach at Geographe Bay.

The facilities include a mini golf course, a boat ramp, swimming pools, and more.

6. South Padre Island

South Padre Island is located on the Gulf of Mexico in Texas. It is a great place to explore this unique part of the USA while also enjoying the sun, sand and water.

On the site there is a range of facilities including a hot tub, pool and fishing.

7. Santa Fortunata Campsite

For the next choice we go back to Europe, and the gorgeous and culturally rich Amalfi Coast in Italy. The Santa Fortunata campsite is located in an area that has been visited for holidays and relaxation since the time of the Roman emperors.

The resort itself is set in olive and lemon trees, and has a range of facilities such as a pool and a restaurant. It even has its own beach.

8. BIG 4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park

BIG 4 Renmark Riverfront Holiday Park is located in South Australia. It is right on the Murray River in Renmark, so river-based activities dominate the resort.

The views over the river are also spectacular, plus there are plenty of other facilities, such as the waterpark, pool, tennis court, and children’s playground.

9. Boyd’s Key West Campground

The Florida Keys is a famous holiday destination, and one that is ever-popular with Americans and foreigners alike. It is attractive because of its near year-round good weather and stunning beaches.

Boyd’s Key West Campground boasts an oceanfront location and features its own marina and beach as well as a swimming pool.

10. Camping Cala Nova

Camping Cala Nova is a park and resort that is located on the beautiful Spanish island of Ibiza. This is a favourite holiday destination for Europe’s rich and famous, particularly sports and music stars from the UK.

The site is just 50 metres from the beach in a peaceful and tranquil location. The water is crystal clear and inviting.

11. BIG 4 St Helens Holiday Park

BIG 4 St Helens Holiday Park is located close to one of Tasmania’s most famous and popular destinations – the Bay of Fires. For many people it is the best beach in the world.

13. Kon Tiki Village

For this next selection we go back to St Tropez in France for one of the poshest camp and caravan sites in the world. It is set among the lush vegetation right on a beautiful beach.
