Setting Hector up is genuinely easy. Every hirer receives short video guides before they leave home covering everything from hitching up to making camp, plus a full in-person walkthrough at pickup. Whether this is your first time towing or your first time using a camper trailer, you will leave feeling completely prepared. Most hirers have camp set up within minutes of arriving. Just bring your food, drinks and clothing. Hector handles the rest. ⚡ True Off-Grid 240V Power Most camper trailers need a powered site or a noisy generator to run 240V appliances. Hector does not. Fitted with a Hardkorr 2000W pure sine wave inverter, a 240Ah iTechworld Pro lithium battery and 340W of rooftop solar, Hector delivers genuine 240V power wherever you camp. Run the supplied induction cooktop, charge laptops, cameras and devices, or power small household appliances without thinking twice about it. No generator. No powered site required. 🛠️ Comfort and Shelter Sorted The rooftop tent sits on top with a built-in staircase for easy access and a queen memory foam mattress for a proper night's sleep. A 270 degree awning gives you generous shade and weather protection, with full awning walls included to close things in when the weather turns. A tropical roof kit is fitted at the tent entrance for added wet weather protection. Hector is pet friendly. Just let me know if you are bringing a furry mate along. 🍳 A Proper Camp Kitchen Hector's kitchen is fully stocked and ready to go. All you need to bring is your food, drinks and cooking basics like oil, salt and pepper. The setup includes a slide-out stainless steel kitchen with dual prep benches, a plumbed hot and cold water sink, a two burner gas cooktop, an induction cooktop, and a 75 litre Brass Monkey fridge freezer. The kitchen is completely equipped with pots, pans, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, coffee mugs and cutlery. A 240V travel kettle and a stovetop kettle for the gas cooktop are both included. For those who take their coffee seriously, an Aeropress and hand grinder are included. A large cast iron Dutch oven is also included for campfire cooking. A Ziggy hooded single burner BBQ is available as an optional add-on for $5 per day. 🚿 Hot Showers Anywhere Unlike the standard Hardkorr Xplorer, Hector has been professionally upgraded with a Duetto 12V electric hot water system, fully plumbed and ready to use. Switch it on, let it heat, plug in the shower rose and adjust the temperature with the built-in dial. No gas bottles. No complicated hose setups. A full-height privacy tent is included for showering and toilet use, giving you comfort and privacy wherever you are camped.
