KITCHEN AND DINING - You can cook and eat inside or outside! - Gourmet kitchen with a large bench and Range hood - 190L Fridge + Freezer, Oven, gas burners and microwave. - Full Sink with a filtered water tap. - Cookware, glasses, plates, bowls, mugs, cutlery, utensils, spices, teas - Eat dinner inside on the Club lounge or Outside enjoying nature on the 2 outdoor camping chairs, table or picnic rug. SLEEPING - Comfy Queen Mattress personal reading lamps and moon roof - Club lounge converts for a 3rd person. bed suitable for a child (10 & under) - Linen included - 2 pillows, 2 cushions, cotton/flannelette sheets, doona, throw and towels HYGIENE - The Lair comes equipped with a full En suite with ceramic bowl toilet, hand basin and shower. -Hand sanitiser and wipes are also provided OFF-GRID - - 170w Solar Panels and 135amp house battery - Charge personal items using 6 USB ports,. - 190L fresh water ADVENTURE Adults bikes available Hiking/ Climbing - We have torches, headlamps, bucket for wet gear. Games - Cards, board games and boules Pick-up/drop-off available 7 days a week, by negotiation as we both work full time jobs. SERVICE FEE - Covers the amenities, full disinfect, and clean and small damages.


Hiring rules

  • Our van is in nearnew condition, so please respect it. Use it and enjoy it but treat it like it's your own!
  • *Awning must be packed away in strong winds (30km/hr+) or bad weather
  • * A common sense approach to avoid cooking of meats / fats / oils / curries inside the van to avoid grease residue and smells
  • *NO ANIMAL / PETS
  • * A cleaning fee of $200.00 will be charged on return if excessive evidence of stains / greasy residue / odour is evident.
  • * A cleaning fee of $50.00 will be charged if the BBQ and grease tray are not cleaned or left in an unhygienic state.
  • *Hirer must empty toilet before they vacate.(Number 1s only please)
  • *No Smoking in or near the van.
  • *Any items used, utensils/plates/chairs/tables etc are to be cleaned and put away in designated
  • drawers/cupboards. General light clean of van i.e. sweep and wipe down kitchen.
  • *Please report any damage no matter how minor.
  • *Toilet and other cleaning charges apply, if not satisfactorily cleaned prior to its return (see below).
  • WHAT DOES THE SERVICE FEE COVER?
  • The fee is a small contribution towards our costs of each hire including things like; kitchen consumables, bathroom consumables, linen, gas, prehandover clean and safety check. The service fee doesn't cover things like mud, sand or salt nor does it cover the return of a toilet that hasn't been emptied. If you do not wish to clean the sand/mud off the van (interior & exterior), you can opt to pay the $100.00 'clean the van for me' option or the $200.00 option 'clean the van for me including toilet'. If you breach these simple house rules, the fees will be recovered from your bond.
  • We will deliver the van up to 200km. We have set delivery fees that include delivery and pick up, cost of diesel, set up and pack down of the van as well as a comprehensive briefing of the caravan (particularly if this is your first time using a caravan). Set prices for popular destinations are as follows and are indicative of travel times that it takes for the complete relocation service. For example South West Rocks will be around 8 hours in duration to complete:
  • • South West Rocks $350.00
  • • Crescent head $280.00
  • • Port Macquarie $250.00
  • • Forster – $100.00
  • • Seal Rocks $100.00
  • If you are travelling to a destination that is not included in the above prices then please contact me directly. I’d be happy to provide a quote.
  • Minimum (8 day/7 night weekend / weekend) stays apply during peak periods.
  • Rates vary as per the following:
  • OFF PEAK RATE: $140.00 p/d (all dates excluding below)
  • SHOULDER RATE: $160.00 p/d ( school holidays)
  • PEAK RATE: $180.00 p/d ( Xmas/new years, long weekends and Easter)
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older
  • Hirer must be 25 years of age or older.

Cancellations

Strict

  • Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
  • Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
  • Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.
