• ℹ️ DIRT GEAR HIRE RULES & INFO ℹ️
• (Please read before hitting the road — it’ll save you headaches later!)
• 🚙 GENERAL RULES
• Towing Responsibility: Your vehicle must meet the required towing capacity (check van specs).
• No Smoking or Vaping: 🚭 $500.00 cleaning fee applies.
• Pets Allowed (Conditions Apply): 🐶 Pet fee required. No pets on beds or lounges. Remove all hair or $300.00–$500.00 cleaning fee applies.
• No Loose Items on the Floor: Store bikes/scooters and gear properly to avoid damage.
• Weight Distribution: Pack evenly — ask if unsure.
• OffRoad Use: Strictly sealed roads unless preapproved for offgrid or offroad travel (with signed itinerary).
• No Beach Driving or HighTide Access.
• Candles/Open Flames: Not permitted inside the van.
• Abandoning the Caravan: Any retrieval, cleaning or associated costs charged to hirer.
• Report Any Damage: No matter how minor — we’ll sort it.
• 🧹 CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES
• Return the van in the same condition it was hired, fair wear and tear accepted.
• Wash dishes, wipe spills, empty bins, sweep floors.
• Toilet cassette must be emptied and rinsed — $250.00 fee if not.
• BBQs/Air Fryers must be returned clean — $55.00 fee if not.
• Excess pet hair, red dust, mud, or sand – Up to $250.00 cleaning fee.
• Choose the “Clean the Van for Me” option if you prefer us to handle it ($150.00 or $250.00 incl. toilet).
• 🏕️ AWNING & OUTDOOR USE
• Never leave awning out overnight or in windy/gusty weather.
• Always keep awning legs attached to the van.
• Any awning damage = full excess charge.
• 💦 WATER & POWER
• Use water wisely – 200L goes fast.
• Turn off lights and devices when not needed (save your battery offgrid).
• Don’t charge phones or tablets inside when offgrid — use car or site power.
• 🔥 SERVICE FEE EXPLAINED
• This small fee covers consumables (kitchen, bathroom, gas), cleaning supplies, and prehandover safety checks. It doesn’t cover heavy mud, sand, red dust, or toilet cleaning.
• 🆘 EMERGENCY / BREAKDOWN
• Pull over safely and stay calm.
• Call Camplify on 1300 416 133 (they’ll connect you to NRMA).
• Then call Chris – Dirt Gear: 0428553311.
• All vans are regularly serviced and safety checked, but things can still happen — we’ll help you get sorted fast.
• ⏰ HIRE DETAILS
• Minimum Hire: 3 days (5 days during school/public holidays).
• Booking Secured: Only once full payment is made.
• Late Returns: $80.00/hr after 4PM unless arranged.
• Hirer Age: 25+ years and valid licence required for all drivers.

• We offer full delivery, setup, and packdown.
• Prices per location, Please message for specific or unlisted locations
• Includes: Fuel, setup, briefing & collection.
• 🏕️ OFFGRID / OFFROAD CONDITIONS
• Preapproved itineraries only.
• Full Inside and external wash required upon return if offroad.
