Self-contained and functional, this exceptionally comfortable mobile home is ready to accompany you on your adventures. Maxine is a manual drive ELECTRICS This vehicle is equipped with a 350W solar panel, a DC to DC charger (which charges while you drive), and a 240V capacity, allowing for off-grid living for several days with 2 x 130Ah batteries or the option to connect to 240V at campsites. KITCHEN The kitchen includes a spacious 45L refrigerator and comes fully equipped with essential cooking utensils (pots, pans, cutlery). A gas cooktop and table are also provided for outdoor cooking. OTHER Two reversing cameras enhance visibility for safe maneuvering. A bike rack is available upon request, Enjoy a restful night’s sleep on a comfortable full queen-sized mattress, and take advantage of the generous under-bed storage for your belongings. We dont have the out door shower anymore. I have a genuine passion for nature, and this vehicle, Maxine, is perfectly suited for experiences in Victoria. I invite you to come and take a closer look!

Additional information

I’m more than happy to be as flexible as I can! If you are considering driving more than 1000km, please let me know at the time of your booking inquiry, as cost of maintenance is a consideration. I can occasionally accommodate a Melbourne to Sydney drop-off during specific times of the year. Please share your plans, and I would be delighted to work with you on any requests. The van includes the first 200km free per day, with additional kilometers charged at up to $1.00 per km. If you could provide a rough outline of your trip and indicate whether you might exceed the kilometers, it would help us reach an agreement before your advenure. Thank you!

Hiring rules

Please share some information about yourself and your planned trip; I would love to hear about the wonderful destinations you wish to visit.
**Please Note:**
No smoking is allowed inside the vehicle.
The hirer must be 30 years of age or older.
Offroad driving is prohibited (National Parks and State Forest main access roads are permitted).
**Fuel (Diesel)**
Green Maxine will be provided with a full tank of diesel at the start of your rental and should be returned with a full tank of diesel at the end of the rental period.
**Gas Cylinders**
You will be provided with one 4kg LPG gas cylinder for cooking purposes. Please inform us upon your return if you use the cylinder completely so that we can arrange for a refill for the next guest.

Pricing

Hire Fee: From $130.00 per day
Service fee: $100.00

Cancellations

Strict

Cancel earlier than 45 days before the start of the booking and receive a full credit. Refunds available upon request (less any admin fees) and may take up to 30 days to process.
Cancel between 45 and 20 days before the start of booking and receive a 90% credit. Booking fees will not be credited.
Cancellations less than 20 days before the start of booking will not be eligible for any credit or refund.

It was great. Beers kept icy cold in the fridge, bed was super comfy and the curtains kept it dark and fan cool to get good sleep in 40 degree heat. Lots of room. Van drives great.

Great 11 day holiday to Lake Eildon.. even a few overcast days didnt stop the solar from gathering what I needed to operate the fridge/chargers etc. The ease of the pick up, set up and pack down made the whole experience way better. Thanks Anita

Anita was amazing to deal withsuper helpful and made the entire process so smooth and enjoyable. The van was incredible, equipped with everything we needed, including a comfortable bed, fans, and kitchen supplies. It was extremely comfortable and drove like a dream, making it easy to maneuver. It was the perfect choice for our NYE trip, and we couldnt have asked for a better experience. Wed absolutely hire again10/10!
